Hi everyone,

I just found out about electronic cigarettes recently while walking through my local mall but balked when I saw the price. I got online when I got home and found this forum! I can't wait to purchase a unit but am so confused by the million brands that are out there. Can someone recommend a good, relatively solid device at a good price? I'd rather buy from someone in the US, somewhere on the East coast because I can't wait to start! Thanks

I'm no veteran as I'm entering only my 6th day of no analogs (tobacco cigs). But, in some ways my experience might better suit you as the whole thing is fresh in my mind. IOW, I have made too many purchases. You don't have to. <g>

Now, this is a vendor's opinion who is in the business of selling e-cigs. So, you will want to read more *real people* opinions as well. But the descriptions and his experiences are spot on.

As for me... if I could start over -- I would have skipped the "look like, feel like" a real cigarette factor that seemed so important to me. It's not, but that's something that individuals need to learn on their own, methinks.

Read Alan's blog. It's a nice condensed read with a couple of vids mixed in. Best of luck.

Most people here like the mini 901 or larger 801.

First order:
Get a starter kit, extra cartridges, bottle(s) of eqliuid, extra atomizers, and a USB pass through.

This is the minimum I would recommend.

Plan on refilling your cartridges using bottled eliquid.

Remember, these are electronic devices, the components can be considered consumable so stock up!

If I were you I'd get a 510 look at all the reviews IMO it's the best e-cig unless you are going to get a mod like the screwdriver but those are a lot more expensive and prob. not the best bet for a newbie who wants something a little more cig. like. The 510 has several different names but they are all the same here are some of the names Yeti = dura c=titan=joye510 my friend ordered 1 the other day from VaporGuys she said that they had 50 instock hope this helps - you can PM me if you have any questions that you don't want to air to everyone lol

I think the majority of people will always want something that looks 'normal' and closely resembles a real cigarette for vaping in public...but unfortunately everything that looks normal is also very unreliable and so they also need something else for when they are away from other people, it can look like anything at all as long as it's easy to use, works reliably and doesn't need much maintenance.

I just ordered and 801 from best ecig because i saw good reveiws in the forums about the company. Just hoping the customs thing does not bite me did not read about that till after the order.

Don't worry about Customs right now. Suppliers and bulk orders in the thousands of dollars are having problems. There is not a single one of us "little people" who has had a Customs problem yet. I had an order clear Customs yesterday, and one just entered Customs today. I'm not worried about it.

Hey, read a few more things, trying to decide now if I want a DSE901 or an RN4072. Which one does everyone recommend? DSE901 seems v. popular but the battery life on the RN4072 seems better? Please help, thank you!
