The aspire spryte is an AIO pod type, for some reason aspire recommends the 1.2Ω head for nic salts and the 1.8Ω head for normal/freebase nic type liquids.
Velvet cloud is high VG liquid, shouldn't cause leaking or flooding, will cause dry hits in delivery devices not known for high VG wicking ability.

When was the last time you replaced the head?
With overly flavored & sweetened liquids they don't last long, especially at lower power like the spryte provides.

Too restrictive air flow or too hard of an inhale pulls more liquid into the head than can be vaporized = spit back.

Hello fellow vapers, I got the aspire spryte and using the 1.2 aspire BVC cool it came with. I’m using velvet cloud 6 mg and am getting massive spitback. I tried cleaning the coil area which gets super damp so I have to rub a Q-Tip on it, but after 4 puffs it starts spitting back again! Any help would’ve greatly appreciated, thanks

I just got the vape yesterday. I’ll try the 1.8 to see if that helps. I’m also taking other advice per your other comments—cleaning excess liquid (it pools after 20 hits). Also put it on 1/2 open 1/2 closed that seems to help too
