Hi everyone I am new to Vapeing (been 20 days as of today) and I have occurred an issue. I have an Ego-T Upgrade with a Kanger Protank-II. I love this tank and am so happy with it, besides size issue. But anyways The coils it came with were 2.2 resistance and I had just ordered 1.8 resistance replacement coils. Only problem is for some reason I am getting ABSOLUTLY no air flow with my new coils tried a couple and all in same result. I can however get a slight but very nasty hit if I leave it unscrewed most the way. Im pretty upset I did reaserch this and found 1 thread about it so I did order a new base but im still curious as to why this is happening he didn't exacly answer it because I Put my old coil that came with the tank back in and it works fine. Some feedback would be great:vapor: Thanks!:2c:

If you are wanting to get a little experimental, you could, very carefully try swapping the old bottom pin in place of the new one. Be careful though, the pin just pulls out, don't remove the white rubber piece, you should see one wire, don't fiddle with that wire unless it shifts, then carefully seat the old pin into the new head, making sure to wedge that wire between the pin and the rubber where it sits, that is your positive wire and needs contact with that pin at all times. Don't throw that old head away either, once you get the new head up and running, any old heads are good for spare parts, plus later on you can use the old head to learn how to rewick and recoil a new head, saving more money in the long run.

No, they came individually wrapped. packaged in bubble wrap.

The real ones come in blister packs as far as I know. I've had this same problem with some knock off coils. Grab one of the new coils, separate the top tube from the coil base so you can see the wicks. I will bet the 2 flavor wicks came unraveled inside and are blocking airflow past the coil.

And I don't think you meant pull the wicks out but I did XD
