Yeah, the Bullets are really nice. I have had my SB since September 2009, and it hasn't missed a beat. It is the original, untreated aluminum version so it does have a few battlescars, but it works flawlessly. I don't think it produces better or more vapor, but it produces for a looong time :) If you use LR atomizers, the bigger batteries alone will work better than cigarette look-alikes.
About the CE2's: The allow the taste of your juice to come through better. There isn't much throat hit IMO, but i don't mind.
They are very convenient, and that is their biggest plus.
Next step will propably be a tank system of some sort, or the upcoming 5ml Giantomizers.
I guess i'm really just looking for a device which works for a day, without refilling/recharging. I still remember packing 5 or 6 901 batteries plus 5 cartridges and a bottle of liquid everytime i left for work :)
My workday setup is now down to a freshly charged SB with an XL CE2 plus a spare CE2. I'm thinking that a SB/Giantomizer combo should suffice for a long days work......

But no matter what you have, there is always something better :) There may not be such a thing as too much vapor, but there is definitely a "too much voltage"-level. For a long time, i used 808 cartomizers on 5volts, which worked really well. 6 volts however, was too much. Also, i haven't been able to keep atomizers alive at 6 volts; 801's died in a day, 510's lasted maybe as much as a week.

@vapi: DIY juice DOES seem like a nice hobby, especially since i am avid amateur cook already. You might want to look into getting some flavourless e-juice (with the right ratios of pg/vg/water and most important the exact amount of nicotine) and just add the flavours. This approach seems to me be an easy entry to DYI, since you can't really put yourself into harms way and at least are guaranteed a liquid with the right smoking properties. Only thing that could go wrong is that it tastes like A...

I'm craving a vape flavor I've never had before, orange. Idk why but I'd really like to try this, maybe because I like the scent. I haven't seen a straight orange e-juice so I guess that will be my first flavor attempt. My husband has good taste buds, I'd ask him to mix something up for me but but it would probably end up tasting like a burrito lol!

@Clavit thanks for all the good tips. Really appreciate it. I'll most definitely try the CE2's then.
Giantomizers? Wow these things are huge. 5ml? that'll last me about two days! I'll for sure check up on how that works for the people on here.

Of the non VV-mods i have my eyes on the silver bullet or the bulli smoker line from germany are my current favs. Both i think are really nice looking and, from what i've heard, seem to be very well made. Do you know the Bulli's btw, might even seen one in person, even better yet tried one? I've been reading quite a bit on some german e-smoking forums and people seem to be quite enthused about them (although not here on ecf). Especially about their atomizers, which are supposed to last forever, since you only exchange the fiberglass wick and the wire holding it once every couple of days, and allow a customized vape all according to how you tie that thing, where you can control the amount of flash vs vapor (seems to be a trade off between the two on this system). They are huge though... however they are supposed to hold quite a bit of liquid as well.

About variable voltage: No experience (of course, because i'm an effin noob), but many people seem to agree that the sweet spot of vapor/taste/flash balance is somewhere to be found inbetween 3.7 and 6v. Hmm also makes sense with the atomizer life, thanks. Can't have these things die on my every week (well it'll still be cheaper than danish cigarettes, but that makes it only slightly better). So bottom line is maybe, if i am looking for more vapor or better flash, i should look straight into VV-mods on the battery side of things and just try out different attys/carts?

@vapi: Ready made Orange flavoured liquid is available! I know that at least Dekang makes some. I have seen it in an european online shop. I am sure if you look around at american stores stocking Dekang, you'll find it double quick. Haven't tried it though, but i love the water-melon flavour from that brand, really fruity, intense and quite natural tasting.

As far as dosing flavours is concerned: As far as i've read up on it the main danger is overdosing the flavour, which makes it pretty much unpalatable (can be diluted again though). The way to go it seems is to start with the minimum amount recommended, let it sit over night (it gets more intense for quite some hours) and then try it the next day. If it shouldn't be strong enough just add a little more, rinse and repeat and remember how much you put in there and voila you should end up with a for your taste buds perfectly flavoured orange e-juice.
Sorry for being such a smartass, i really haven't tried any of this, just repeating what other people wrote:blush:

@player30: thank you, good to be here!

Haha, well at least this part is original! lol! My tastes are simple so I might be better off just getting ready made juice in simple flavors. I'm concerned about cinnamon, another one of my favorites, I read it's not healthy to vape. I want a redhot cinnamon flavor so bad too! Do you know if it's safe?

@vapi: hmmm, could you provide with a link to the dangers of cinnamon? got to admit i'm curious now.
As far as I am aware of the only thing that could be an issue in e-juice is diacetyl.
Here's a link from flavourart explaining possible concerns about it, and which of their flavours contain it:

Diacetile - Flavourart. La sartoria degli aromi

Since it's not on that list, i can't really think of a reason why it should be more harmful than other liquid flavourings. There are also some american stockists of that particular company's flavors. Liberty flights e.g. I know Lorann flavourings and the perfumers apprentice are american companies which claim their juices to be diacetyl free altogether.

Then again i really am also still learning, so don't take my word for it.
