Hi, I'm new to the whole vaping thing. I started because I have put on some weight after I quit smoking 8 years ago and even though I work out quite a lot (I'm a groupfitness instructor) I can't seem to get it off (I have discipline issues lol)
So I thought I'd go back to 'smoking' without messing up my lungs with smoke/tar/garbage....I need my lungs to breathe after all.

Started out with 0mg/ml nicotine juices since the thought of going back to nicotine addiction frightened me. But after having done some research on the nicotine as a stand-alone substance, I'm now vaping 6mg/ml juices. After all it's the nicotine that's an appetite suppressant. Just the act of vaping didn't cut it entirely, although it has kept my mind off of eating out of boredom a little.

So yeah...vaping to lose weight....we'll see how that goes.

But me question is this: do 100%VG juices really have less flavor? Because I started with some 50/50 and 70/30-ish PG/VG juices, but it turns out my husband gets an allergic reaction just from the vapor of that. (He's really sensitive to PG....in everything...gets dizzy/seasick and headaches).
Could just be I need to add more flavoring to my mixes? Or more steep time? Or just accept that it won't pack as much flavor as the PG/VG blends?

Any and all insight will be highly appreciated!

Yes you can add a little more flavor to your taste. And add one drop per ml of distilled water to thin and make it easier to wick. Adding the dw you need more flavoring also.

I am thinking each juice stands on its own - brand and flavor. What flavors are u looking for?

I was hoping for that, yeah. I'm mostly a gourmet type vaper, I guess. Got a lot of great ideas from Sweetab's thread (thank you for that!).
I'm loving my Vanilla Custard and Buttermint and am now waiting on some banana split and cheesecake flavorings. And I've ordered some French Vanilla, Cinnamon Roll and Rainbow Sherbert from Mt.Baker today (all at 6mg).
Only have one nic juice now though: Cotton Candy, but I'm thinking that also needs some steeping.
Can the steeping be rushed? I'm not a patient girl.....

Thank you for those. Bookmarked and will look into them.
I should maybe let you know that I'm in the Netherlands.....some vendors don't ship internationally (luckily these do). I have found that there aren't very many local places to get 'custom' liquids.
I've been into indy perfume oils for quite some time, so I don't mind the whole international shipping thing and am used to the shipping costs.
I love that there's a forum for this.....so much information shared.....I mean I have pretty good Google-Fu, but this is just wonderful!

Johnson Creek Tennessee is my ADV. Also like Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions - avejuice.com - ......just got Bobas in today - along with s dreamberries, Cappuccino and Strawberry Cooler - new flavors for me. These probably need to be steeped for a while before I will try em. You may want to check if they will ship to you.

I ordered from mt Baker with 2 extra flavor shots. I figured it will take a week to get to me, so I can take that off the steep time, heh. My DIY mixes have steeped for about 2 weeks by then.

I used a new coil head when I switched to 100%VG, maybe that had anything to do with it? Not enough saturation in the wicks? Also, the husband doesn't seem to react to my mix which I think is not entirely VG. The Capella flavoring....is that PG based?

All my cappella flavorings have a PG base, and some also have an alcohol carrier as well.
