Good trick. I'm thinking when I quit vaping I may buy a few of those menthol plastic ciggy things if needed.

A friend gave me a little trick she used. She cut straws into cig lengths. Soaked small pieces of cotton in peppermint or wintergreen oil and stuffed them in side. When she wanted a little something she'd "puff" on those a few times. She gave me one and if I weren't going to vape anymore I'd do that instead of a toothpick or tic tac.

Probably not the timeline you're looking for, but here goes.

On the eve of my 2 year vaperversary, I had inadvertently left my mod at home. That meant I had no means of vaping while at work. And you know what? Aside from the habit of stepping out of the office, I didn't have any cravings. I went the entire day without it. No problems. I'm vaping 12mg btw. Still am.

Just saying that for me, it was an inadvertent move on my part. And now I'm doing the odd day here and there without it. No problems so far.

I worked my way down to zero nic slowly and have been there for a few months now. I also cut down on the amount i vape. I'm away from home right now helping the kids renovate a house and forgot my PV yesterday. I made it through 8 hours without much difficulty. I will be experimenting more with that the next few weeks. I suspect quiting can be done relatively easily if you are so inclined. Good luck with it!
