I know next to nothing about e cigs. I want one that is well built and has parts that are not to expensive to replace when I do have to replace them. I also want it to be not TO much bigger than a normal cigarette unless it has to be for it to be quality. One more thing, what parts need to be replaced? I also want it to be an automatic (I don't want to have to press a button)

Sounds like an ego type battery and a mini size clearomizer would work for you. The main parts that need replacing are the atomiser heads, they wick and heat the liquid. Maybe try a vision spinner battery with a mini aero tank or nautilus.

Edit: Personally I'd get an MVP 2 instead of a spinner, it has a huge battery capacity, pretty durable and relatively cheap. BUT it's a box mod instead of a tube so it may seem a bit big and bulky at first.

Without getting too far ahead of things, this would be an excellent start.

I also want it to be not TOO much bigger than a normal cigarette unless it has to be for it to be quality. One more thing, what parts need to be replaced?

Small and good is rare, almost impossible.

As long as you don't buy one that looks like a fake plastic cigarette, you'll be OK.

ALL of those are quite bad. The better the brand likes to consider itself, the worse it will be. That's 21st century marketing.

Mvp2 and miniprotank2(or mini aerotank)

The mvp2 itself will need replaceing after a year or 2 but its the best bang for the buck in batteries and recommeded for new users.

The liquid need refilling. (or you can diy your own)

The atomizer head needs replacing. (or can be rebuilt and/or rewicked)

Something in the ego style would fit that. As said, the smaller "cig-a-like" size do not give a good vape experience and wind up costing more in the long run.

A Spinner type, or the Innokin VV3 would be my suggestion for openers. The VV3 has the advantage in being both VV and VW - two different ways to control the heat to the coil - AND you can vape it while it's charging. I'd stay away from fixed voltage batteries, since with them, the only way to alter the vape to YOUR tastes is to change to a different value coil.

Regarding toppers, any of the smaller clearos would work well. Something like the Kanger PT2, mini PT, T3S, or equivalents. The heads inside them contain the heating coil and the wick. That part is the replaceable part, and are generally pretty cheap. Their service life will vary depending on the juice and your vaping style, and if you wish they can be rebuilt. (Don't bother with that for now - get used to vaping first! But save them for later... who knows? :) )

You WILL want at least two toppers. If you get them the same style, you only need to have one type of head for replacement. (Actually, you'll want at least two of everything, even chargers. Insurance. Different flavors. Insurance.)

Hi and welcome! I am also new here. My only piece of advice is DON'T go with a cigarette lookalike. I started my ecig experience with Blu cigs and a rechargeable cig lookalike from online. Then I got an eGo startup kit. The difference is night and day! I am also getting advice from members here to get an MVP2 (battery) and Nautilus or Nautilus Mini (tank) and I think I will switch to that setup soon. The price is not too far off from an eGo starter kit, so if I were you I would start with that.

Good luck in kicking your cigarette habit. I am trying to quit too! :D

Brings back memories... When I was starting out I first went looking for the plastic cigarette, thinking that would be best. How wrong I was! I then went to the ego rigs, and they were just not cutting it. I put a Protank on my Vision spinner, and that didn't cut it either. It was okay for a while, but more trouble than it was worth, and an inconsistent vape. In the end I wound up with a mech and a genesis RBA, five weeks into my vaping quest. I've been happy ever since.

Now all this was many long ages ago, when the world was young and green, and wild poodles roamed the earth, so I'm sure they have come out with far better starter setups by now, and if you can get along with a box mod I hear the MVP 2 is pretty good, and you can put a wide variety of attys on it.

The Emow Mega kit is actually a good kit and only runs 50 bucks. I bought mine from MistHub, but you can find it on EBay for a few bucks cheaper and a few members have the different colors (mine is Silver). Don't let the Mega part fool you, as it's shorter than my Spinner 2, just a tad wider. But, the power of the battery will last you all day. It comes with a great tank, VV, charger and 5 pack of coils for that price. Nothing better on the market to get you going. Maybe find a Mini Protank 3 if you want a slightly smaller tank at times. If you want smaller than that, I have an itaste clk that I highly recommend, as it's the smallest VV package outside of the itaste vv 3.0, but looks better than that one to me. If all else fails, get you a Spinner 2, and Protank Mini 3 or Aspire ETS BDC tank and you'll be set (no coils included), but the price will be a lot cheaper. PM if you need details on any of these items and where they're cheapest right now.

Good luck!

The I-Taste VV3 is a great starter battery. You can get a good starter kit from your local Vape Store. I started with a tiny Joye Ego starter kit that came with a "throw a way" tank. I was good for a month and then upgraded to a VV (variable votage) with a Kanger Mini Protank II. I have bought a few larger more powerful batteries but then give them away to my sons. I always go back to the smaller VV batteries. Someone else advised you to get 2 of everything. I agree. Once you make the initial investment; you will only need coils and liquid until or if you decide to upgrade.

Good Luck and Congratulations on your decision.

Started with Eleaf Ikit and some liqua juices. Then browsed the net and found out more interesting juices and bought them. Tried to get more flavour out of them and bought a panzer and nautilus aspire. Loving it, so back to the web and hunt some more interesting juices, found and bought them. Heard that aspire released the new BVC coil, so went out and bought the mini aspire and some extra BVC, love the extra flavours.

A friend dropped by the office with his Evic Supreme, so tried them on with my 2 aspire tanks, WOW...more flavour! Now i am waiting for my rDNA30. I wonder when this will stop lol..., hopefully i wont have to dabble with coiling .
