I went into the world of mods due to my wife stealing my other Ego C battery. Ok I took it far farther than I thought I would after that lol

The obvious answer would be anything with an 18650 battery as at that point battery life becomes a worry of the past.

Then budget comes into play and whether you want to play with variable voltage.

If vv isn't an issue look at the Bolt. You van add a Kick later for vv. If.you want vv LavaTube works.

Anything more than that and you are talking Buzz or ProVari. Both fantastic devices.

If you like dripping then don't forget bottom feeders. VMods do a great job at a great price.

Choice isn't the question budget and your needs are.

Congratulations and welcome. Some will argue with this but you might try a higher pg amount in your nic liq. the amount of nic can also affect the TH. TH also depends a lot, imo, on the type/flavor of the liq you are using (e.g. mint/menthol, cinnamon, etc.) hits harder than watermelon. So, unless you just want to go with a higher power unit (which is a common side effect of vaping ), you might say what flavors, nic level, etc. you have tried or are currently using.

p.s. Was posting at the same time as Andy, so what I am saying is in mo way reflecting on his advice.

Hi Monkey - welcome to ECF and congratulations on 3 weeks smoke free - that is FANTASTIC! When you say you wish you had more vape - are you talking about vapor? You said the throat hit is good - I would definitely try to find a juice with a higher percentage of VG - that will up your vapor production quite nicely. (IMHO) :) I don't think it will affect your throat hit too much if you continue to use an LR atty or carto. Hope this helps and good luck on your continued journey!! :)

Pfft- misread the post (I am old and it is late). Autum is correct - increasing VG will add more vapor, but will also add a bit more sweetness. Many say increasing VG will diminish flavors a bit - so you may want to increase the flavor content a bit if it is not satisfying. If you want to try a semi-diy (though this will definitely decrease the flavor) you can purchase VG locally (usp) at any drug store or hobby shop-- it is used to make icing and as a moisturizer-- and add it to a small amount to a small amount you currently have. Just make sure it is pure VG and USP.

Sorry for my screw-up on you post.

Thanks everyone :)

My mix is 24mg peppermint/menthol (double flavor) 70pg 30vg.

I guess to get more vape (lots of billowy vapors:vapor:), I should change it to something like 50/50?

VV.. I don't know much about the benefits of it, but it sounds nice! I'm using tanks on the ego 3.3v now, and want to try LR XL cartos, like the dual core 1.5ohms. Buuuut, I think I'll need a bigger batt for that.. like 3.7v or higher. Not sure.

So, I kind of feel I need a better batt, but there's so many choices. I've been 'binging' on youtube vape videos for weeks, trying to learn =/

hey monkey if your on a budget right now untill you can reorder some juice run down to your local healthfood store and get a small bottle of vegtable glyrcerine ( hope i spelled it right) and add a few drops to your juice and you will see what it can do ,hell you can drip straight into your atty as far as that goes and you will see plumes of vapor , just take it easy with adding it to your nic juice if you use too much it will lower the flavor also which can be good if its too strong , but i was a 1 1/2 pak a day and i started with a 48mg juice i am currently at 6mg 20 months later and loving it

I think it is better to learn here. Quite a few youtube video's are "paid".

For warmer, fuller vapor, moving up from the little 3.3 volt ego is a good idea. Here is a new option on the market that is variable to an extent. Unlike the Lavatube, it allows you to use dual coil cartomizers from what has been reported on ECF. It gives you the option of 3.7v, 4.5v and 5.0v, which are all better than the ego but keeps it simple. The EVO:

EVO V2 Kit

It comes with AW batteries which is a nice feature, also.

Not quite true :)

I am using a doil coil 1.5ohms carto on my ego - tons of vapor :) I know I am probably shortening my battery life terribly by doing this, I am planning on getting a Provari soon anyway, so I am enjoying myself while I save up the money for a provari :)

The DC Tanks are pretty cheap (around $7) they are probably one of the best ways to vape as there is minimal fuss with them (they hold a lot of liquid and fixing any leaks doesn't take long and mine don't leak often).

A Low Resistance Stardust (Ego Clearomizer), also gives a lot more vapor than the tank system the ego comes with, and is also pretty much hassle free vaping (at least I have good luck with them).
