welcome and best of luck with your vaping journey. a whole lot of info to digest here, and more support than you can shake a stick at. take time to read about the things you are interested in before plunking down hard earned money on every new toy that catches your eye. best to find something that works for you and explore some juice flavors first. good to see you all here. <*}}}>{

Welcome most defiantly do your research the MVP is a great mod it was what I used after my e go style. After that I wanted a tube style so I went with provari because they are built like a tank, have a smooth draw, never miss fires, I haven't had to mess with the center pin like I did with the MVP and the customer service/warranty Provape offers it's customers is top notch. Good luck with your decision make the best one for you!

Well just to update this a bit, I ended up going into my local shop last Saturday and was going to pick up a vamo v5 but then I saw the sigelei 20w it was quite a bit more but such a nice device so I ended up buying one of them. Then this past Thursday I ended up picking up a kayfun clone from them, this setup is absolutely amazing and I don't think I can go back to a mini protank or even the protank 3 after having the kayfun. It's the kayfun 3.1 clone. The flavor and vapor production is amazing have it setup with a .8 ohm coil and cotton wicking.

Alerson, welcome! You made a really good choice with the Mini PT. For a clearo it is vastly under-rated and in many ways can be superior to its big brother, the mighty ProTank.

Having examined a great variety of consumer products, lol, I'd suggest you consider ditchin' the eGo batt asap. Look to power and temperature to get you to your flavor and vapor goal. Take a look at the SMOK Magneto (eGo cap) and kick clone as an inexpensive and very versatile alternative to a full-fledged VV/VW device (at <60$). You want wattage control. That's like the temp dial on your stove. And you have an important concern about resistance (and voltage). Here's a handy watts and resistance chart to put it in perspective.

Despite the many types of devices I test, own and build on today the above is still my favorite grab-n-run no-fuss just works solution in every battery configuration. Just be careful not to sit on it and wishbone the thing in your back pocket.

Oh, and try not to buy every atomizer and PV on the market in search of the holy grail (I did, lol). Instead, find the temp for the juices you like. That's the ticket. The solutions then become more evident…and affordable.

Look me up I write on tech aspects of vaping and improving your vape.

Best of luck in your adventure!

:)

Welcome. Vamo v5 is a great mod, but it's a bit heavy and not very pocket friendly. I would look into the iTaste MVP 2. It's a box mod, it's light, & feels comfortable in the hands, it has a a 2600mah battery and most people get 2-3 days between charges, and it's cheap can usually find it between $40-$60.

I have already bought a sigelei 20w and love it. Yes it's a bit heavy but it doesn't bother me as far as size and fits in a pocket fine and not bothersome. Summer might be a bit different, cause my inner jacket pocket works great right now.

I think this was an intelligent choice as it will afford you some impressive variability. I have a ZNA30 and it has stretched my limits but I could certainly be quite content with the above. It's smaller than I had envisioned. But best is that like that ZNA and eVic it has VW adjustment in .1 W increments. More valuable in fine tuning a response to flavor (determining corresponding voltage/resistance) than the additional power. It is both a learning and rebuilding tool you will come to understand as the electrical relationships become familiar. Good choice!

Good luck alersen.

You made a great choice in skipping the 33.3 mods and going for the sigelei. Yihi is making some very nice chips these days. I have had my 20w for a couple weeks, and am having a great return to vaping with it. I'm rocking the taifun gt on it right now, but have a genny, kayfun, and dripper(Prometheus) on the way.
It's best to just spend the money on the good stuff right off the bat, instead of ending up with a bunch of unused items along the way (my opinion ymmv). The ego c, and assortment of tanks I've collected are all in my wife's purse now. I do hope they hurry with an 18350/18500 tube for the 20w though. I'd much rather carry a few spare batteries, than a 8inch billy club.
