I am a newbie at vaping and already have problems, I only used my joyetech eVIC VTC for one day and had problems with it not vaping anymore and leaking around the top of the device, I am asking if anyone knows what is wrong, I would love to start using it again but I have no idea what would be wrong, I have tried to get help from Joyetech but everytime I send them photos they ask for more photos, I am frustrated, this cost me $80 and I need help to fix my problem, I am 53 and want to use this as a replacement for cigarettes, please help

Hi Rose, I am going to assume (yes, I know the old saying about assuming) you got the kit with the ego one mega tank. With that in mind I would recommend searching it on youtube as there are a lot of vids on it (including leaking problems) Kudos to you starting with a nice subohm system. I am an old/new vapor (started vaping to quit smoking, quit vaping for about 1 1/2 years and then got sucked back into smoking the EVIL tobacco so am dusting off my old vaping equip and going to try again) I myself never really got into doing the subohm monster clouds. most beginners I tried to steer toward the old kanger protanks but I don't think those are valid choice anymore. Anyway, try youtube, and hopefully you can find a resolution

It will be the tank, and not the mod box that'll be responsible for any leaks - if you tell us what kind of tank and coils you're using, we'll be better able to figure out what's going on and help you.

Make sure that you take the tank off the mod, and hold the mod upside-down while you clean it with tissues and/or q-tips etc., so as to prevent spilt juice from entering the VTC.

Hard to tell if i don't know what tank you are using. My guess would be an eGo One or a Tron. Leakage can be caused by broken or missing o-rings, but with these tanks it's usually the coil. The factory coils tend to leak when you use thinner juice, you couls solve this by getting CLR coils for your tank, like these: CLR Head (Rebuildable) - Joyetech

The mod (battery) portions is fine as is, can use battery portion on most any topper (atomizer). Your tank (topper) is an advanced vaping device.
Might want to do non sub-ohm first . You may get great flavor but the cloud production may be not as intense as you can produce with sub ohm'g.
Could look into the pros and cons of sub ohm'g vs non sub ohm'g before you decide which way you want to go. Successful sub ohm'rs tend to know the ins and outs of vaping.
