The mod's chip might be able to put out 220 watts, but since the highest amp 18650 batteries currently available are only 30 amps continuous discharge, we can expect to only get 180 watts using two 18650's in any dual battery mod.
So you are correct, many manufacturers seem to advertise "more watts must mean its better". The fact is, I don't know many vapers who actually vape over 100 watts. How many watts do you vape at? (2018)
I always look at the "recommended wattage range" for the coils if using a factory-made drop in coil. If your mod can't support that range of power, don't buy that atomizer or coil. What should I keep in mind when buying a new atomizer when it comes to resistance?
I know from experience that I prefer to vape around 30 watts, so I choose a tank and coils that support that wattage. Original Uwell Crown Clearomizer Tank
- 1.2 ohm Single Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Coil - 10 to 30W
- 0.5 ohm Dual Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 30 to 80W
- 0.25 ohm Dual Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 80 to 120W
- 0.15 ohm Dual Ni200 Nickel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 400 to 600 Degrees Fahrenheit (temp control)
Uwell Crown 3 SUS316 Parallel Coil 0.25ohm Atomizer Heads for Wattage or SS316 TC Mode:
- Manufacturer's Recommended Wattage Range: 80 - 90W
- Manufacturer's Recommended Wattage Range: 70 - 80W
