Hiccups and indigestion

Ok so I really hope that I'm not the only one, and someone else chimes in here but I've noticed something strange since I switched to vaping. I can't narrow it down and more than "it started after I started vaping". Nothing specific to my setup, the juice used, or anything else.

Occasionally (every day or two) after I take a puff and exhale, I produce a hiccup. Not more than one. Take another puff, and another hiccup. Wait a few minutes and it goes away. Freaking nuts.

Also, if I vape sweet liquids (specifically Backwoods Brew's conundrum, or MtBaker Vapor's butterscotch, I get an indigestion type feeling. Not actually indigestion, more like reflux I would say.

I will say that the indigestion didn't really start until I switched from stardust to Vivi Nova's and then started experimenting with different wicks. Originally I used what I really assume is silica wick, read some nasty crap about it here, and switched to cheesecloth home made wicks that are working VERY well. But at the same time, I started using this setup with new juice too since I was going through stardusts like crazy since they are almost impossible to efficiently clean.

Please someone else tell me that I'm not crazy and not alone (don't lie to me though :)) I don't really care if I bled out my rear from vaping, I'm not going back, but still. This is really crazy.

I normally don't get hiccups. Can't remember the last time I did. BUT I will also say that a long time ago, when I smoked some really stupid stuff (it was white and expensive and I won't say any more) that I would experience something very similar. That was the part about this that startled me. I don't think anything crazy like what are they putting in this stuff, more along the lines of looking for an educated reason behind this and possibly something I can do differently to not have these issues.

I really can't wait to see what kind of can of worms I opened up here. Happy vaping ya'all.

Now hurry up and go vote if you haven't. Its a great day to be an American!!!

I have before, and will every now and again, but I wouldn't say that was the cause (still don't know for sure). For sure this last time it happened was about 5 minutes before I posted, and prior to vaping it was hanging around my neck upright. The only time I really do get some in my mouth is if it ends upside down for a while.

I'll try to pay better attention over the next few days and see if I can narrow it down a bit. See if something stands out as different when it happens. Since I switched to the Vivi with my homemade wicks, I haven't really had any issues like that. I found a setup that really works for me. I was initially struggling with my first setup (ego-t and stardust). Switched to variable voltage and vivi's (someone on here recommended it) and absolutely love my setup now.

Thanks for the quick reply classwife.
