Hiccups

I have to agree with Morandir. Hiccups can be caused by too much of any stimulant really. Kind of like drinking a ton of coffee and getting twitchy. It's your diaphragm that's getting twitchy. Any chance you were drinking caffeine at the time also? If so, try not combining the two as much. Actually, now that i'm already spouting nurse-speak anyway, caffeine isn't the best beverage choice to pair with a pv anyway, as it doesn't hydrate you as well. Ok, off my pulpit :)

I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.
It use to happen to me only once in a while but lately it has been happening alot. After not vaping for a bit, I go to take a nice long vape and HICCUP... It happens right when I am inhaling. Drives me nuts. It happens at least 4 or 5 times a day.

You're not alone - I was hitting the pv HARD and had the same thing happen - thought it was me, but evidently not, and as Morandir noted, you're on your way to an OD...

one thing i've noticed is that i get hiccups if my mouth is dry. on the way to work after brushing my teeth i need to take a glass of water with me cuz if i don't i'll get a hiccup attack.
it happens in the morning on my 1st puff so it's not too much nic

edit: i know that hiccuping is a symptom of too much nic, but she said she would vape 11mg and it would happen after a long period of not vaping

As a smoker I hardly ever hiccuped, and and a vaper I haven't hiccuped at all. I really can't remember the last time, so it's been years since I've hiccuped. I keep my nic at 18mg and haven't used anything more powerful than the V4L PT. I stick to the manual regular & manual XL batteries 98 percent of the time.
Could voltage be a factor in hiccuping, if it's not nic-related?
I could also be lacking the hiccup gene.

Ms. Thanku4vaping higher voltage does lead to higher th potential, but still think it has more to do with the nicotine. Just because you smoked say 3 pad of marlboro reds, doesn't mean you need 36mg juice. You may need as little as 4mg. Everyone absorbs nicotine differently, especially once you remove the other 4000+ chemicals...
