scare yourself, while holding your breath and drinking a glass of water upside down, and eating some sugar!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, I really don't know.
Hope it goes away.

That's what's really confusing me actually. They're not normal hiccups, only a powerful, single (or maybe another one a few seconds later) hiccup after each drag. So confusing!!

But if it doesn't go away, I'll take your advice and do all that in between each drag :p

Ditto with smoking and also vaping - I dunno why either - i know it was WAY worse if I smoked and it was cold (and I was outside smoking). Stopping for a little helped, sometimes I had to stop for a lot.
Ive also had and have indegestion with both.
Im not sure its too much nic for me, I smoked ultralights and use 12mg e juice. I guess it could be too fast tho (I used to smoke quickly and I vape the same way)

umop... I have the same thing happen to me every once in a while.. not clue why... used to happen to me when I smoked analogs too... would love to find the reason though

"Hiccups are caused by many central and peripheral nervous system disorders, all from injury or irritation to the phrenic and vagus nerves, as well as toxic or metabolic disorders affecting the aforementioned systems. Hiccups often occur after drinking carbonated beverages or alcohol. Prolonged laughter is also known to cause hiccups. Persistent or intractable hiccups may be caused by any condition which irritates or damages the relevant nerves. Chemotherapy—which can include a huge amount of different drugs—has been implicated in hiccups (some data states 30 percent of patients),[citation needed] while other studies have not proven such a relationship. Many times chemotherapy is applied to tumors sitting at places that are by themselves prone to cause hiccups, if irritated." - Wikipedia

Hiccups are known to be caused with abnormal breathing and irregular air intake into the lungs. The body causes hiccups to get the CO2 levels back to normal. With Vaping most people take LONG and SLOW drags which can easily cause hiccups.

So i can see how this is a common problem for people :)

Cures:
Spoon of sugar
Sips of Water
Slow regular breaths

There are a lot of "cures" out there, Most of them are cures that are active just by the "Idea of it working"

I call them niccups! :D It means your throat and esophagus are getting too much topical nicotine. Its a typical smooth muscle response. 24 mg is a relatively high level, and you may be getting drops of juice in the mouth, or just holding the vapor in the throat. I get them sometimes with higher nic levels, but more often from nic gum or lozenges (do not chew the lozenges! 8-o). Never got them from analogs, since the oral nic absorption is much lower...it mostly goes to the lungs, riding on smoke particles.

Drink some water and they will probably pass as the nic is flushed out. A trick I know to get rid of hiccups that works 95% of the time with me is to fill a very large glass with water, like a liter, empty your lungs of air, and drink as much of that glass as you can without breathing. If you start to go into lung fits while doing it, all the better. They are almost always gone afterwards. Normal hiccups are a diaphragm spasm. But niccups generally just need a drink of water to flush it out. And yes, niccups are not like regular ones. They are higher up, and either one big one, with saliva flushing the nic out, or many rapid ones until the nic is gone.

Its true that hiccups can indicate several more severe problems, but as they say in medicine, if you hear hoof beats think horse, not zebra. The most likely cause here is too much topical nic.

This isn't a case of vaping giving you the hiccups but inhaling the vaper makes you hiccup. It's a bit different.

I've had this with strong flavoured tobacco in the past and a few times recently with some strong flavours in my juice. You may notice that I associate it with the flavours rather than the nicotine. ;)

And as said, this isn't realy 'having the hiccups' so you don't have to do anything to get rid of them... except maybe not vape for a minute. ;)
