So, this is my second rodeo with vaping. My last run was with an eGo pen that I dropped and broke about a year after I got it. This time, Santa brought me Totally Wicked INTU battery with a KangerTech ProTank 4 for Christmas :). My New Year resolution last year was to quit smoking so I'm hoping I can use this rig to ween me off of the smokes.

So, I have a few questions:

What does SSOCC stand for?
What does rba stand for? What is the rba good for?
What do the wattage ranges on the atomizer heads mean? Can I only use the battery within that range?
Why is one of the atomizer heads box-shaped while the other is cylindrical?
Do the ohm ratings on the atomizer head indicate the total resistance?
Does anyone else have the TW INTU?

I frankly wasn't expecting this kind of learning curve but I'm a geek so I'm eating it up. I'm a programmer by trade. I look forward to being able to vape at my desk. =)

Anyway, pleasure to meet you all. Take care and Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah!

The Intu is an Eleaf iStick iPower 80w only secretly re-branded. (TW often charge too much by deliberately doing this.... well, you get the idea...)

Lots of people use the iStick Products. Most are OK. The iPower is excellent, but won't last forever.

SSOCC = Stainless Steel (casing) Organic Cotton Coil
RBA = ReBuildableAtomizer - more likely to be a 'make your own coil & wick' part in the atomizer.
You should not have any square OCC coils, not in 2016. Those are no longer on sale. (Please don't buy more or go looking...)

The wattage range is the maximum and minimum recommended power (watts) for that type of coil. The upper figure is always 'best case scenario' and should be avoided until you know for sure. Too many people waste too much money on factory coils using them too high because they fall for the manufacturers BS.

Merry Christmas to you.

:)

hi and welcome. And like djsvapor said, when starting a new coil, start at low wattage and work your way up. This saves a lot of coils and coughing fits from dry hits off the first draw. LOL I learned the hard way. (while my wife laughed hysterically. NOT as hysterically as when I got a dry hit off a sub ohm drip tank build though) Apparently, someone elses suffering is funny. lol
