high-bridge v low-bridge atomizes: what are the pros and cons?

I tend to imagine that low bridge is better (I drip) because the liquid doesn't have to wick as far. Are high-bridge better for carts then? Are they really inferior for dripping? I just bought 10 high bridge ones because they were on sale, I hope I don't regret it too too much.

I vote for no bridge.
I debridge my atties before I ever use them. Only need a bridge in there if you are using a cartridge.

You can always de-bridge the atty if you want to drip. They have videos on youtube of how to do it. It's really not hard to do at all.

I ruined 2 atties trying this... Turns out my atties have a slightly different construction (more metal, less plastic, no wick.)

After watching more of the debridging videos I also learned that it is not generally thought to be a good idea for high-voltage drippers. I'm currently running 7.4 (more like 8) volts, so there's that as well.

High bridge atomizers are designed for cartridges (which few use) and some are designed for cheap rebrander cartridges that come sealed with a foil end instead of having a reusable silicone plug (the high pointy bridge is needed to pole through the foil).

Most vapers do not use cartridges and use cartomizers instead for everyday vaping. And atomizers can be used on a sealed manual battery w/ a drip tip for testing juices or vaping occasional juices at home. For dripping the low bridge usually preferable to high. And re the suggestions above - some use wickless or bridgeless atomizers for dripping but those cannot be used with cartridges.
