When I worked in the ICU I saw so many non-compliant diabetics in for amputations. That's definitely not a disease you want to mess around with.

I have some diabetic friends too and they're worse than any...
One drinks gallons of "diet" soda and if she eat's too much "sugar" in a day she ups her insulin
I'd like to choke some people too

Breaking news story: The SIL is loving the HDV twist. I have officially converted her. Bad news: Bro is still chewing.....he quit cigs 7 years ago...so its hard to convert back to a hands to mouth action. Oh, well. I told SIL it just means more e-liquid for her.

ha, there's no mardi gras anything much that happens around here. Nothing really happened in savannah, either. Big savannah holiday was st patrick's day.

around here we get a parade for veteran's day, that's about it. small town outside of a military base and all.

I mean I thought that college being a voluntary thing that the people around me would be a little more motivated than they are. I've been sorely disapointed.

My sister-in-law is an English professor and she's often complained about the students' lack of motivation. Most seem to think that their tuition buys them a degree regardless of the amount of effort they put in.

Well I will grant I'm somewhat less motivated in english than my other classes. But it's required, and really only vaguely applicable to my major. But I'm still doing the work and paying attention and participating, not wandering in twenty minutes late with breakfast.

We're having to do a creative narrative essay (which is a pain in the ..., because the story suffers for the sake of formatting) and we're having to read and critique each other's work.

Sadly, all the ones i've looked at have turned out to be pretty much exactly what I expected from the respective individuals to the point where it's a laughable caricature.
