Hubby has since adjusted the withholding on his W2.
Between the tax return and my difference check I'm looking to set myself up in DIY stuff for the next several years.

We used part of it to pay off a chunk of our mortgage. If we get as much next year, bye bye student loans!

For example. I go to school at 7am monday, wednesday, friday. i'm up at five these mornings.

and we're not talking a ten minute shower, in and out. not even. we're talking shower and full shave.
AND when my husband got up at 4, his brother was in the shower.

I'm the only adult in my household that doesn't work, so I shower at night. Common courtesy!
And she's the deaf one, right? So she can't hear you banging on the door....
Yep, it was really quite rude.
I try to shower at night because I know I'm getting up, hubby is getting up, and she'll be getting her kid up for school. But i wait until after 9 (her daughter's bedtime) so she can get her kids washed and in bed before I hop in.
Other night she was in there from 9:30 to 10:20, again shower and shave.
I should ideally already be in bed by ten, but no...

It's ridiculous. she hasn't worked a day since they moved in. She's here all day, and she can shower and shave and do laundry any time. Instead she elects to do it when we're accustomed to having time to shower.
I've spoken to my mother in law about it, but nobody really wants to say anything and disrupt the peace.
