It's amazing how quickly we become out of shape. Takes a lot longer to get into shape.

And it sucks that we now have to work at it. When we were young, it was just natural.

Thinking back to high school, I used to march around for 8 hours in the August heat, carrying a baritone horn, and still had energy to dance for another 3 hours that night. Didn't think anything of it. I think I'd die now!
Hmmm that's an idea though...maybe I should take one college course a semester so I can be in marching band again. :laugh:

Spring is finally here! yay :D

Good for you Thren, 3 miles sounds like a lot!!!!
I Have to try to get rid of a few pounds I gained over winter...taking walks one of these days hopefully will help.

I like jj's idea...just go only so far, dont push it.
I do wish it was as easy as when we were kids:(

Orrrrr, go out dancing. Great exercise.

I actually used to be able to move pretty well and now......I have no doubts I would be carried away in an ambulance if I tried to do what I used to. Possibly with the sirens off.
