Why does everything have to be the standard ceramic with NR legs? Is it for heat control? It just seems so much easier to build a coil when there's posts in a mod. I know some of these drippers are quite small to use posts, but the IGO-S is pretty darn small and gets away with it. Do the RBAs with ceramic stay cooler?

Good question. The ceramic cup provides a stable housing for the coil. The ceramic cup keeps the heat where it is needed and keeps the outside of the RBA cooler.

NR wire came into the vaping scene as people began rebuilding Clearomizers, Vivi's, and other similar units. RBA's that require NR wire usually have two things in common... They have a silicon bushing (or similar material) at the bottom of the unit, that separates the positive and negative coil wire "legs" where they attach to the base of the unit. These coil wire "legs" are usually long, leading from the the coil to the base of the unit. Resistance wire gets very hot because it is supposed to. Many people complain about these long legs getting so hot, that they burn the silicone plug, causing a horrible taste and reducing the life of the bushing itself. The cure for this is to connect two NR wire legs (normally .999% silver) to the coil when rebuilding them. NR wire does not heat up like resistance wire does. The NR wire stays cool while it supplies power to the coil. Most people wrap their coils to the required length/diameter, then attach two NR wire legs to the coil by twisting the NR wire to the ends of the coil. The NR legs extend to the base of the unit and do not get hot enough to burn up the bushing. I hope this helps...

Surprised no one has mentioned the GP Spheroid. Such a badass rebuildable atty. I'm on Vapourart's website everyday checking if they're back in stock.
But not a dripper, which the OP was looking for. Even though you could probably use it as such, if not more than a couple drops at a time.

I love my dripper pro! I was a bit stupid though and bought a pro instead of the spiral (if anyone want to trade me a spiral for a pro id be interested) as I was intending on getting a provari. ATM I only have an eGo twist for a 510 device and the dripper pro looks pretty silly on it (overly phallic I'd say)

It is an awesome dripper with some serious vapor production. Flavour is out of this world too. My ihybrid is good, well great actually... but the ebaron is just better flavourwise

How much juice does the pro hold? Does it leak if it's tilted? I bought the Trivveca (Rainbow clone, God it's bad when there are clones of clones!) I like the flavor, lasts a decent amount of time, but I can't travel with it at all! I went to the store a while back with it in my pocket then went to hit it on the way home. Dry as a bone! Got home and saw the nice juice stain on the pocket of my shirt!
I'd rock a dripper, but not one that leaks like that, suggestions?

the pro isnt going to hold a ton. i sually do around the 5-7 drop range. and lay it on the desk all the time. any dripper will leak if there is more fluid then the wicks can hold. side air holes usually leak worse.
with my A7 i used to fill the bottom with wick to hold more juice. i use the pro all the time but havent tried to intentionally spill it so it seems ok. get in the car after work and pull it out of my bag and pop 3-4 hits from when i used it earlier in the day before i refill.

being a bottom feeder style if you top it off to normal holding capacity it should be fine in a pocket. but i wouldnt hold it upside down.

Thanks for that Thrasher! Any tilt on the Trivveca and it's bone dry! Not worried about upside down, just want to be able to hold some liquid and not have it leak while in my pocket T.
I'll look at the A7 as well, been hearing a lot about it, just never looked at one. I like the pro right now just because I can buy pre-built coils for a decent price. My 9 1/4 fingers seem to have a hard time building coils in RBA's!

the pro coils are a snap, just fold the wire in and slide the cup on. the other wire sticks out the side and when you screw the top on you just snip the end off. with a rinse and dry burn now and then im running on a few weeks on one.

yea i reread the post and im sure in a situation just sitting in your pocket it wont make a mess like something with the side airhole. i leave mine on the seat, in my pack lay it down all the time. never right after filling but with plenty of hits left in it.

i would check out the video on houseofmods. watched it and it was in my cart lol.

you can try one cause they are cheap but the A7 is tight spaces and little screws - works ok just warning you now lol
