It is kind of big with the extension cap, I actually prefer it in mini mode. I'm looking to get a shorty drip tip also because the ming is a little long. If I have it in my pocket with the extension on the drip tip will poke out of my pocket just a tad.

Good to know. I wish it were a bit smaller but it looks very promising either way. I'm excited to order it. Sad day that I didn't go with the mini though. I figured why go with the mini when I know that I'll be using the extended battery cap all the time??? But now I see the reason.

Sorry to hear you got another messed up V2 jcarabelos. I gotta give a +1 for the cobra. Its a little on the large side but the vape is well worth it.

It sounds worth it, and so I will have to forgive the size and give it a go anyway!

If a Fatty doesn't work at all than there is not much that can be wrong with it
Negative post is screwed directly to the base
Positive post screws all the way through the insulation and the end of the screw is the positive contact of the 510 connection. It couldn't be any simpler
The end of the positive screw must not be making contact with the PV's positive contact because it is recessed too far in. And it can't be very far off

I adjusted mine by wrapping the threads of the 510 connection with electrical tap
Remove both screws from the Fatty
Snug the taped 510 threads in a drill chuck
Spin the Fatty in the drill while holding light sandpaper against the insulation at the center top of the base
The more insulation you sand off, the further the end of the screw will protrude at the 510 connection
The end of the screw should be just a hair above the threads of the 510 connector

Give it a shot
I'd much rather do whatever it takes to get it to work than call, email, send it back, wait weeks, call again, email again, send it back again...On and On

BTW - Your right, for $85 there really isn't much to it at all

Tobarger, I thought this was the problem but why would the atty fail a continuity test and read no resistance with a coil on a multimeter if this was the only problem? Also, on my brand new provari it is the first atty to really be on the device and I can see the area on the positive connection which appears to be marked by the screw. I could be wrong though. If I don't hear back from okcvapes soon (as I'm sure I won't) then perhaps I'll give this a whirl anyway, but I don't understand why a coil sitting on the fatty would have a 0.00 resistance if there wasn't something wrong with it. But then again I'm no expert at this so I could be mistaken. I'll let you guys know within the next couple of days.

0 ohms between the terminals is a short just like your first Fatty
Is the washer contacting the negative screw again?

I can tell you one thing
If I had this atomizer in front of me
I would be able to tell what is wrong with it very quickly just by looking at it
No way would I need a meter
Like I said before
There is really nothing to these atomizers
They just couldn't be any simpler

That's what's boggling my mind here, Tobarger. There is no connection between the washer and negative screw. I'm going to try sanding it down anyway when I get home. I'm sure you're probably right about that. I appreciate all of your help!

Sorry I meant 0 ohms. It's reading as though it has a short. I'm at work right now so I'll check again when I get home. Who knows, I could have missed the problem in my upset state. But like I said I'm sure you're right about it not making a connection. However, it shorting and not giving a reading on the meter may be something I've missed too. I'll post back when I figure it out tonight when I'm home.

I have alot of experience with meters
And I own about ten of them

0 ohms - short circuit (this IS a reading)
Infinite ohms - open circuit (this is NO reading)

When I try to communicate with someone who has limited meter/electrical experience
It can get very confusing

No worries, I understood you the first time. I just misspoke even though you had already corrected me!

And update: Stephanie from Okcvapes just called me to apologize for the problems I've had with the fatty. They have issued a refund and she insisted that I keep the one I have. I am impressed. I rescind my earlier statement about okcvapes having the worst customer service. It isn't the best service out there, but it's clear that the owner truly cares about customer relations. Not too sure about her employees though :glare:.

Post pictures of it j bottom of the connector and top screw chamber area. It's ridiculous simple build so there shouldn't be problems. I've built some extremely ridiculous complex ones an managed to not get a short lol we can help.
High price point on this atty is the air control and well, getting it here. Phillipines shipments are ridiculous in price.

I've built more complicated ones than this one too, and I realize that it's a simple build, but there are flaws with the build quality. And you're right, shipping prices are the very reason that I was told not to send it back to them, because it wouldn't be cost effective for them to send it back to the Philippines. As far as this atty goes it's probably a connection problem. I haven't had the time to file down the delrin, but will do soon enough.

Lighting isn't ideal, neither is the camera, but here you go!
