Guys, I think I might trade out my Nemesis. I don't know if its late, I'm drunk, or what. I kinda just... wanna see what else is out there (grass is greener?). Although I'm not sure there's really anymore 'upward mobility' in the realm of mechs outside of a vela.

If they could make this thing, with the button of a Roller somehow on the bottom, I'd never need anything ever again.

Hrm.. Maybe that's why no one has done that yet.

Meh, Impossibru without an assload of machining for a part that at somepoint will be updated when owners stop with the AWESOME SWITCH DUDE crap.

I posted all my dislikes of the Nemsicle on that thread and no one could argue any of my points. The mod is a great feel but the temps that came in to finish it were just that, temps.
could be such an awesome device...
Oh did I ever tell you the 26 hours I did own it I dropped that rediculous brass post in new shag carpet? 2 dysons 1 shark, a spaghetti strainer and 2.5 hours to find that fkr. No lie and it almost prevented my hella awsomest trade ever.

ITS PENDING.....i couldnt pull the trigger.....cloudy screen and never sent me a pic of the screen that i requested...cant take that chance even for 135

If he can't send you a picture of the screen then don't deal with em - there shouldn't be any 'ifs' in situations involving that kinda money.

Honestly, its a great button, I'm not here to try and talk ANYONE out of holding a masterpiece like this in their hands but occasionally when you don't hit the button square on it feels as though its rubbing against the side of the bottom of the tube a bit -- Perhaps its the Matte finish on my button - I dunno man.

I still plan on picking up a brass one when it comes out, but tonight, I'm straight vapin ego's and kangers.

Perfect answer. Thank you. I figure the worst case scenario is that I don't like it and decide to sell it. I haven't seen where anyone's had to sell at a loss to get rid one.

I doubt that its water damage. Most of the cloudy screens (that I've read about) are from people doing the alcohol wash with 91% isopropyl alcohol, instead of 99%.
My guess (pure theory not tested) is that a re-wash with 99% would clear it up.

That's the nice thing about buying quality items - there's never really any money lost if you wanna try something else (as the current situation shows up oh so well).

Ding ding ding. I was consiering that too. 3 quick strikes: 2.5, bad pictures, signs of water damage. Didn't even look at the price.

Sounds familiar. Part of the reason I debated for a shorter time about my Poldiac than I did about a box of 50 cartos is that I knew I could sell the Poldiac.

Not yet. Someone suggested threading a carto in from the back to clean out a small burr. It definitely feels crunchier there than any other thread on the mod, and things will go in from the back. After doing that a couple times, a few more things thread but not everything.

I think it's just a smal machining issue.

The iGo-L works fine. I'll try Hokus's DID next weekend to make sure it's not my cheap RBAs not threading. But if it doesn't work or I get impatient, I'll email them and see what happens. I can't imagine top caps are worth much to them compared to the profit they make on the mod.

What's the material of the screen? Acetone can actually dissolve a lot of plastics (and make them look cloudy). I found that out the hard way in Organic when I tried to clean my goggles with it... afterwards I basically had beer goggles (and thus put them right next to the ethanol!). As a chemist I couldn't imagine why 91% isopropyl would do more damage to certain plastics than 99%, seeing as how it's usually just diluted with water.
