Thanks guys. Its a little hard for me at the moment since I'm deployed overseas. I ordered kanthal and two dripper clones to experiment with while here. Bought the beast master mod before I left and haven't tried it yet. I've been wanting to get into mechs more and more lately and when I saw the setups you guys run I fell in love.

Do you guys have any recommendations as far as things to try and what to stay away from? Again thanks for the replies.

u can't go wrong with a nemesis.....that would be an unreserved recommendation

I second that, Nemesis is a great mod, performs extremely well I love it with my kayfun lite but in a few days it will be used with a dripper and the kayfun will migrate to my new toy, poldiac.

I'm deployed as well bud. Okinawa right now.
If I were you, I'd get a clone you could take to field with you or for a daily carry as a beater. Don't spend the money on a high end mech, take it to the field and have it get all jacked up. I was taking my provari to the field then I got into mechs and got a clone to take with me. I had on of those relatively small pelican cases they have at the px and got foam and cut it out to fit my batteries, mod, atty and some juice

A lot of folks know how much I love GP products. I got to play around with a brass Nemesis a few weeks ago. While the threading on my Lux is superior, the Nemesis does have a solid feel to it, and I did like the patina on the brass. It felt very solid, the kind of solid feel I had been expecting but failed to get from another popular brand of mod. :2c:

i got some money shots for ya....
my melted aqua core...
if anyone was ever interested in what the insides of the aqua looked like.....i can't fix it...that internal "silicone" thing is one piece and melted.....air travels through it and up....in this case the air passage collapsed...LOL....aqua is now retired to "parts" storage
