I regularly browse the MM Vapors website to see if they have the Poldiac RW in stock (I like polished SS). Lo and behold, it's in stock today. Although I had every intention of slowing down in my purchases of mechanical mods, I couldn't help myself and I got an 18650 with extra tubes and pants for 18500 and 18350 batteries. This is my first Poldiac. I've heard great things about them but have been a bit put off by all of the parts (it's not a simple unit). I think it's beautiful and I hear it's hard-hitting. Please tell me I didn't make a mistake (although I'm sure I can offload it in the Classifieds if I don't like it).

I paid too much - you probably got a better deal on the Classifieds (I saw a good deal earlier in the month). In addition to the 18650 mod and the 18500 and 18350 tubes and pants I got the o-ring set and a pack of five springs. I'll probably get some o-rings and a spring in the bag of parts that I think comes with it, but I like to have spares lying around just in case (I similarly have extra Paps, Gus, and Nemesis springs). All together, €234 ($318.46) including UPS shipping. I'm waiting for tracking (when they wake up and get to work tomorrow).

I'm eager to take a picture of it with the rest of July's bounty. I love all of my Greek mods and atomizers.

Agreed, something about Greek mods that seem a cut above most offerings from other countries, especially outside of Europe.

I have been saying this for a long time bruddah. The mods, the care, the pride, the innovation, customer service, etc.
The only American Co. that comes close is ELA and even then there have been some big hold ups.
Hence the reason I am a huge fan boy of Greek builders and dont see it ending. Even with their economic situation and their pos lying govt. they work hard to make their living and to keep us happy. George/Perseas, Imeo and Konstantinos are a perfect examples.

Don't forget Gus. He has redesigned everything and is really keeping up. I'm really interested in his new switch. Has an internal section with bearings. Check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=431746
GUS Kiss new telescopic mod

He is doing some real nice tubes too.

I don't care much for the Kiss but I am going to pick up the new switch.

I really don't like how the 22mm tubes don't have vent holes. I always use a fuse, but I dislike carrying around a pipe bomb (although I'm using a new 18650 tube right now that was delivered today).

So right. Nice finish. Have you been using the turbine much? I'm well over the KF at this point and waiting for the Squape notice.
Squape = Kibro

I use it all the time, I dunno about the squape though the anodizing used inside isnt food safe apparently
Are you thinking of MM Vapors? My PayPal payment for the Poldiac went to a Maria.

gus mods, "aiolos" on here, her name is maria. Also the reason the new tubes arent vented is bc there are vent holes in the new switch. (The one with the ball bearings) I still think that perseas' stuff is of a higher quality but we will see. My gf loves her gus ts/paps 2.5 frankenmod.

Have not heard this, I read this last night, "The socket and the vape chamber are made out of aluminum coated with Ematal. This is a new approach in atomizer technology and Ensures highest quality materials, and 100% best protection and insulation."
Figured they were.
I'm not sure much of our wicking media is food safe either - ss mesh, silica or ekowool.

ematal, yeah thats the one. i read a post faceless made somewhere about the squape saying that he had considered it for his mods bc of its durability, but ended up deciding against it bc its unsafe for consumption... after reseaching it a couple of my freinds have sold theirs bc of that. just felth that was worth mentioning if you wre planning on getting one. its nonconductive so you can use a peice of rolled up mesh as a wick in there which is pretty cool though, and you could always have it stripped and reanodized.
