Do you mean that the whole button is unscrewing, perhaps when you are trying to use the locking ring, or do you mean that the button head is coming off? If either, then you just need to tighten everything up. If it's the whole switch coming out then you need to make sure that the thinner ring is screwed tightly against the side of the mod and if it's the button head, then you need to take the switch out, push the button in, get a good grip on the part that sticks out with pliers (careful...), and then tighten up the button head as much as you can.

Yes, the button is probably loose - BUT - I cringe when I hear people talk pliers around ANY PV - to tighten a GG Button, use a 5mm nut driver on small pin to hold and turn while turning the actual head of button. NO PLIers please

Pair of 2011 TMF GGTS - still pristine and unused - buttons were changed out for a newer brass and a very old brass one

I'll have to look out for one of these, won't have to worry about the end of the pin slipping out of the pliers anymore! I hear you on not wanting to use pliers though, I could do (and, sadly, have...) some real damage to the finish with them. Fortunately, I only use them on internal parts that can't be seen when the mod is together so you would never know this if you saw me vaping. Could probably get a nut driver for the heaxagonal part of the center pin assembly too but I'll probably still need them to get the delrin piece off of it.

New Omega by VaporBombz with Rocket drip tip by RSM.
dual micro-coil with cotton, still on the fence with the cotton thing, I really dont get the hype.
may go back to ceramic wicks... micro coils meh!

Trying to get the drip tip to age like the Caravela... Two day and it still looks new :?:

and oh yeah, the obligatory "hits like a ton of bricks".

So I am going to answer the previous King vs Nemesis question...based on the new "sleek" king and the two nem's I had...I would get the king. The nem is smaller but that's about the only advantage. The king has a nicer button, build and finish. I dunno about the other style kings though.

Also, my microstick did not ship because I didn't EMS it.

Dspin,

The button is almost feeling like it won't go in further but wants to come back out every time I lock it. I do not want to force it in any further but it feels " loose". Yes I do have the small nut against the body as well. I may be an idiot but not a total one :). Gorgeous pair of ggts as well. Thanks for help and replies.

Cb,
pardon my newness but what are those? They look amazing!!

Fury,
Thank you for your reply. I like the new satin brass king

Chi sleeks by mojo. The modder that makes the chi you. They are 16mm, 14500 mods. They are the first 14500 mod I've owned that I have zero complaints about.
There was a pre-order at koreavape a while ago. They were well worth the wait and price.

Thanks classy.
I tried mixing them, but with the different finishes media blasted and polished they look better all brass or all SS IMO. Mine and zens are perfect, jenay said she has a few burrs in the threads. If you like 14500s I would highly recommend these. They hit as hard as a Bagua, but the button feels soooo nice. They must have changed the font since Scott's (I think it was him) review. My "style of mojo" looks like style of mojo not style of poo. Lol

I needed some winners after receiving that scepter!

As usual keep em coming D. Mud pics, that is all.
Hammer arrived and is spectacular with muh Ody. The box is a nice touch.

My hammer box fell completely apart when I opened it. The two trips across the ocean apparently took its toll (customs sent it back to Korea). The mod was in flawless shape, and that's all I was worried about. :)

and oh yeah, the obligatory "hits like a ton of bricks".

finally someone who has the same thoughts as me on cotton.

I dont dislike cotton, but I dont see why people go apesheet over it.

ive been playing with cotton and micro and nano coils for a little while now. Micro coils with cotton threaded through the coil(like a regular setup), and a nano coil, with no wick through, rather the coil sitting on a bed of saturated cotton. PLENTY of builds done, I just didn't get the epiphany.

So I did a test. Not feeling like using dual coil setups, I dug out two Igo-Ls for this. One of them I built with a good old fashioned regular coil, with 28g and doubled up 3mm silica. My basic go-to setup. The other one, built a microcoil with 28g and organic cotton ball wick. I aimed for the ohms to be exact, but, I got them close enough. Regular coil was a 1.1, Micro was a 1.3. Same juice, and I fired them on both mechs, and provaris.

There was no landslide victory, but I liked the Silica better. If I ran out of silica, Id certainly use cotton, but I wont be selling off my silica reserves anytime soon.

Now, I did see a video the other day, where the guy wasn't using organic cotton balls(I personally bought "Maxim" brand), but rather he was using CVS brand sterile rolled cotton. CVS Rolled Cotton - CVS pharmacy

It might be worth it to try that out too.

And a closing thought, there IS a difference with non organic, regular cotton balls. Ones that dont say organic on the bag. Setup a build with that, and it tastes like your vaping through a soggy tshirt. I didnt know you were supposed to use organic cotton or sterile cotton, so my FIRST tries with cotton, made me think most vapers were nuts :)

I did a test on my Omega...
1st build - 0.4ohm dual coil w/ ORGANIC cotton... PIC, ran for 3 days
2nd build - 0.4ohm dual coil w/ folded 3mm silica... PIC, made it last night

I tested it out with the same juice (Pluid)....
My thoughts, cotton is not for me.
flavour comes out better & the silica stays saturated longer between drips....
