np. i don't know if any of you care, but sorry for the "low-quality" of the pics. i didn't do the usual fussy ocd routine (just the slightly ocd routine) when i snapped these just now. also, haven't dialed in the profile for this lens yet. these guys are all hard at work helping me taste all the freakin' juices i bought over the past couple weeks.

idaho, before you polish up your GG, check out these... not the best picture-taker but i think they look bad frakking ... brushed (hardcore GG peeps would probably put a grenade in my .... for saying that though) in two tone, i frakking love two tone if you didnt know that already... looks good with just about anything.

oh and my de-branded zag brushed in the same grit, this is literally the last zen device i own. I'm actually working on a reduced-chamber cap for it, and should fit all zen-devices but since i started on it i havent had much time due to work. I think i'll hang on to this one though, since theyre discontinued, the gg/zag was my unicorn at one point lol ant took me forever to get one... anybody remember when zen's were hard to get? lol

and i love cats too, i would fill my apt with them like a cat-lady if my lease/allergys would allow it, specially kittens, theyre funny as hell, i could watch this all day.

lol, i love how hes checking out that other one, and the one sneaks up on him, freaks him out but at the end, he stares down the lizard like, sup lizard... i totally did that on purpose to show you my skills.
anyways heres mine, keiko, if my gf or I ever want her out of the kitchen or w/e, we just put on some anime, she'll watch it for hours, heres her watching wolf's rain lol.

and heres her teh first day we got her, her mother was a feral that we used to feed, she had kittens but keiko was the only one who came up to us and let us pet her like her mother, we found her the next day stuck in a bush crying so we took her in, unfortunately none of her brothers or sisters survived, we were going to take one or two more in but those little frakkers are good at hiding.

Brother you know I love brushed. I have a nice media blaster and wish I had first shot at this gg. Whatever V and S used was too soft and it looks good but the finish isn't holding. I am a member of a firearm thread and is where I learned to bead blast barrels but this is just a funky finish.
Funny you responded as I thought of you giving me ideas on alternating the finishes all my gg. But I am going to brush. I have a cool wet sander in shop and I can clamp the tube. I will hit it with 400 and graduate to your preferred 800 of needed.
Imeo loves his mods altered. He says he makes them for our pleasure.

Those are awesome. Your the pro and most my ideas and inspiration come from your pea brain bro.

^thanks bro, i love the look of a brushed gg, esp mixed finish but i've gotten flamed for it before like "how could you do that to a GG" and "send that thing to me i'll take care of it properly" and blah blah blah, so i mostly keep it to myself, the important thing is that i like it.

800 isnt my final finish of choice personally, actually i prefer a really fine 1500-2000 but 800 seems to be the final brushed finish that gives that hairline, combed look that people seem to like. i normally do it in my own special way with the tubes wrapped in one end of the belt with a dowel holding the tube in place, at very low speed, on my belt grinder/polisher & sander. takes some practice to get the right way down but it gives it a really uniform finish i think.

I also have a bead blaster setup with a box and spindle with dowel inside for rotating the mod, but it relies on my genny and air compressor which need an overhaul and I havent had time lately.

What are on your Poldiacs?

Also...recommend a dripper? Looking to move up from iGo-Ls and Squids. You seem to have used several.

that's a dra xl 2 on the polidac. i'm in the midst of rebuilding it, actually. both of mine started hard shorting after a while because the insulator started falling apart. it's tough to find 22mm drippers and i liked them at first just because they were the right size, but vapor and flavor are better with the dripper and the nimbus. the terminator dripper is pretty good, too, but it floods really easily in my experience. i like the immortalizer a lot, too. i've heard good things about the gryphon and just put myself on the list. people seem to rave about the hellfire dripper, but i don't know what makes them so special and i don't think there is an easy way to pick one up.

i love two-tone looks. brushed/polished, brass/steel, etc. i don't like my brass polidac as much as i thought i would. and the brass chi doesn't look right without the steel rings. that gg looks sick.

i love dogs and cats. always thought about getting one, but i'm not home enough most of the time to even care for a cat. plus, i'd probably have to put my mods away every day. :)

crap like that makes me want to put my gg stealth in a press and crush it on youtube. :) seriously its your mod do to it what you wish. I like matte. I have a couple aga t2's (some of my first genesis') I just taped the glass, put a 510 to 901 on it and chucked it in a drill. hit them with emery cloth and they look sooooooo much better. if I still used my stealth id do the same to it. I kind of like how its all scratched up from use too. some people get carried away with a couple of makers products, its almost cult like, but to each his own I guess.

thanks :) i feel the same way about wanting a 22mm dripper, a guy i know makes this one (same guy who makes the stratus) so i put myself on the list for his, its 22mm. i dont need a million drippers though bc i mostly only use them for diy testing purposes and sometimes just for fun  so once i get it i'll either let go of the immo or nimbus. drippers are a bit too inconvenient for me to use regularly

yeah, i absolutely hate the whole cult-like, modder-can-do-no-wrong attitude. I know a dude, who was flamed and attacked for re-anodizing his mod in a thread i used to go to, idaho knows what im talking about. I was flamed as well and shunned by people who had been my freind since i started vaping a year and a half ago, just for stripping anodizing off inner threads and replacing stainless steel contacts with brass to try to get some better performance out of a device. I;m sorry but sometimes, when the modder anodizes switch and atty threads, (oops) or uses SS contacts (one of the worst conductors in the world) instead of brass, the whole modder-can-do-no-wrong attitude no longer applies.

thanks, i put myself on the dripper list a while back. can't wait for them to ship. i use drippers a lot when i'm at home because i like switching up the flavors a lot. when i'm out and about i don't vape that much, which is why i usually don't need a giant tank. i weened my self down to 6 mg nic, so most of the craving is done. but vaping is relaxing and it keeps me from smoking cigs when i drink. drinking was always my downfall when it came to smoking. that, and boredom.
