high pitch frequency on the provari

When I use my new provari, it makes a high pitch noise.. whats up with that?

my first one did that when I got it at higher voltages it stopped doing it after about a month

I read if you clean the threads this will eliminate it ?

just cleaned the threads, and it seems to have helped. I hear it just a little bit still, but there is a difference.

Ive had my provari for about 3 weeks now, the noise just started last night...

its no big deal, just curious. ill tinker with it more and see if it stops

Cleaning the threads worked for me whenever I noticed that sound. I remember seeing something about the high pitched sound happening due to it not grounding properly when the threads are dirty.

Someone also mentioned getting some Noalox for the threads. I use it on mine, I got it from Home Depot electrical department for around $3.00. It's a small tube packaged in a small box.
