Between 3 and 6 ohms??

If you have a VV device I don't see the point. Of you have a mechanical mod, again I don't see the point, unless you are stacking batteries which I don't advise.

If you have to get a higher resistance use thinner wire, like kanthal 36.

I find trying to raise resistance with more wraps of thicker wire doesn't work as well.

As long as it works there is no problem with saving some money. Build quality aside, I wonder how much if any difference there is in the performance?

From what I have been reading here and elsewhere folks are saying the performance is pretty much the same. Some issues with the airhole not lining up correctly but we will see, can't wait to get the damn things though lol, feels like I have been waiting a year!

Hi all. I decided to try out a DID clone before I got the real thing. Will receive it shortly but every time I read about them they are always low resistance. Has anyone used enough wire to make it a high resistance. Anything between 3 or 6 would be perfect. Thanks in advance

Drac

You should have no problem at all getting higher ohms with 34 or 36 awg wire. 5-7 wraps will do it. enjoy.

I got my A7 rebuildable atty set to 3.2 Ohms and love it.
You dont want to go too high, you may stress out the mod/battery with the amp draw. I try to say in the 1.5-2 Amp range.

my mod is powered by a kick, so the two work well together.

Its rebuildable so give it a go. if you dont like it, wrap a lower ohm coil... :)
