Hi everyone. I have been using high wattage mods for some time and have gotten tired of big clouds. I decided to buy a suorin drop but found out afterwards that I have a slight intolerance to PG. Does anyone know if the drop can handle high vg liquids (70% og higher). And if not I have been wondering if it would be possible to thin it out with distilled water og something of the sort.

Appreciate any help you can give me.

Yes and yes.

I am PG sensitive and for a long time I was using about 90VG and 10% DW (minus flavoring which I can tolerate about 10% Pg without ill effect.

I haven't vaped many pod mods but I did vape an AOI kit in one, and it was fine. No flooding and whatnot and wicking is fine.

Don't use more than 10% DW, the vape gets a bit gross, but up to 10% is usually fine. Just prime well and etc. Also, if/once you get to DIY you can use PEG400 as a PG substitute IIRC it is slightly more viscous than like, PG, but it still is a flavor carrier and thins the mix considerably.

If you want to try a small amount, Nicotine River sells it fairly cheaply, I don't know how low their quantities go, but it's not expensive (would also advise you to research it yourself, as I found nothing troubling or concerning, but it's a different ingredient in vape so for sure, research it first).

The more you "add" to your current juice, the less flavor it will have in the mix, so I'd advise being somewhat judicious with what you try and one thing at a time. In part, what type of coil you have in your pod mod MAY make a difference, but when I found out I was PG sensitive I was vaping pretty high VG mixes in all my small, MTL tanks, think resistances of 1.0 or above. Coil life maybe a bit less due to gunking factors, but not really that bad and etc.

Best of luck,

Anna

Thank you very much, will check it out.
And if I were to use water do you know how much would be safe to add to the liquid?
I wouldn't go higher than 20% myself. It should thin it out enough to use in a pod system, but not dilute the juice too much. Start lower (i would start at 10% for a pod system) and add more as needed after testing, as with anything else you would add to ejuice.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Might want to start adding distilled water an 5% and work up or down depending on the flavor. Since most atomizers can handle some to all VG, I would try the AIO to see how it responds with your VG and DI. You will want to guard against dry hits. Might need to balance the time it takes to wick to transfer the VG/H2O and your hits in order to insure rewicking and prevent dry hits. Some tanks (not my area of experience) are made so that the wick is always immersed.
