I've used one, and as you know these DCs are inconsistent from batch to batch and even carto to carto in the same box so YMMV. I used my 2ohm DC on 4.9V Provari and that was the butterzone for me until it clogged or oversaturated, I forget which.

So it would be great with MV 5V box mod. I've also got a 2.5ohm that works at 5.5-5.6V best and the 3 ohm I tried worked at 6+ best... so yeah...the LiFePO4s again  But it was satisfactory at 6V on the Provari (which holds its voltage under load) or 2 AW 3.7 18350s stacked, which at first was a little too hot but when drained a bit was about 6-6.5V under load so that was about perfect.

Hope this helps.

2.0's m ight heat up slower, but will help with battery life. They wont burn juice as fast (at the same voltage - Which I am assuming as I know you are a RS fan) so it may help with the dry hits. I find that sometimes I have to do a couple sharp no-power hits (till you see a bubble in the tank if you are using one) every so often to avoid dry hits.

This, but 2ohm DC on a 4.2V battery mod...I don't know if that'd satisfy most people. I'm going to measure the load drop on a 1.6 and a 2.7 since I have those loaded and we'll average them out to see what end voltage we get for a 2-ish ohm....and the answer is....3.6V for 2.7 ohm and 3.3V for 1.6ohm...so it's going to be around 3.4 or 3.5V for a 2 ohmer under load, which is pretty far under the 4.9 that was ideal for me. As always, YMMV.

right now we use the 1.5 dct under 6v, but keep getting dry hits. We like the warm vapor. have tried the 2.5dc but did not care for them. was hoping the 2.0 would be a little warm but not dry hit as often. even at 2.5 we get good vapor production
I'm assuming you're using 2 stacked Li-Po's? Well then, with the voltage drop under load you should be right in a good ballpark with the 2ohms. I would order a couple to try out first but under those conditions I can recommend them as long as you're comfy stacking those batts.

Dont know if I could give up the tank. Love not having to fill all the time. So much nicer not having to carry juice around. Otherwise i could go back to the 1.5 dc without the tank. always carried a bottle with so never had a dry hit. ok ill admit it. im lazy
Pretty much all I use now too. I have so many cartos from the pre tank era that I need to unload or use...

Sjkader I use the 2.0 ohm dct at 6v and is a good hit to me....also really like the 3.0ohm dct at 7.4v using the 18350's in my goldrush and the TF 16340's in my MaxiRS

i use the dc clear's regular and mega xl 1.6ohm at 6v all the time and have never had a dud do have to be careful with them though to keep them from cracking but to me better hit than the reg dc 1.5 stainless and more reliable as far as working.
