Normal packs have 20ish mg of nic, and when I started vaping, I was dosing with 60mg a day and didnt even notice. Just wondering about long term health issues of constant/higher nic levels. Will 80mg/day affect me negatively in the long run? I know nic makes you think sharper and such...whats a good dosage for aiding the brain but not succumbing to too much nicotine?

A pack of cigarettes actually has somewhere around 200 mg of nicotine per pack depending on if it's a light, regular etc. . Only about 1 mg per cigarette is absorbed.

The absorption of nicotine with e-cigs is also very low. Blood level studies (what few there are) show that absorption rates are about 10%. You are not getting nearly the 80 mg you stated. Likely much closer to 8 mg.

I have to say if nic made you really smart..wouldn't we have all quit analogs ong before this? Just teasing. :)
I think each person has a different level of what would make them smart or have longer attention spans or whatever. I doubt there is any kind of break even..Besides each one of us vapes in a different manner.
I use a 901, hate throat hits and use low nic. But I vape all the time. ( I know, I am a wimp)
Some one else will use a mod with mega power, 36 nic and likes monster throat hits. He may vape even more then I do or just once in a while.
No way to test us out of a controlled lab.
I for one don't fancy being a lab rat!
