Im not sure if this belongs here but I took a chance cause this pertains to rba. Is there an alternative to the kick in regards to higher wattage but with the same drop in tube design of the kick. Since it only reaches 10 watts using my sub ohm coils is not possible. Is there an alternative with regards to me switching from my aw imr 18350 to something else.

Is there going to be a higher wattage kick in the future.

Thanks.

I think the Kick went obsolete when RBA's exploded in popularity. The whole point of a mech mod is have power only limited by your choice of battery. A Kick pretty much neuters a mech mod. If you want regulated power the Vamo is a much better deal and cheaper.

I totally agree. I don't see the point of using a kick like device with SLR builds. Not to mention I'd bet my life savings that none of the drop in units will be able to handle the current of SLR vaping.

It's kind of like buying a built-up, hardcore track car with roll cage and stripped interior, and then sticking some little four banger from the 80s into it.

Although I would like a mod that was build specifically for SLR vapers, regulated to 4.2v, and have circuitry that can handle up to... let's say 10amps just to be safe. Externally this device could look exactly like a mech, but have a constant 4.2v and no worries about the device not being able to handle the power.

Now that I think about it, I'm very confused about the OP's request. He wants a kick in the 15 watt range to run his sub ohm builds. Even with a .9 coil you are getting 16-18 watts of power depending on battery level. Which means if the OP is vaping a sub ohm coil, he is already getting MORE power than the device he wants would give him. Getting a 15watt capable kick would actually give him LESS power.
