Hi THE! Vapor4Life has a very good reputation. I wouldn't worry about their batts being no good.

The eGo and the Tornado, which use 510 attys, are the same thing with different branding. The Riva also uses 510 attys, but it's got a higher mAh battery I believe. They all look pretty similar.

They are not compatible with the Kr808, and you can buy adapters. But they make 510 cartomizers, which I would think would be an easier solution, if you like the idea of cartomizers.

If you want an eGo-like battery built to take the Kr808 cartos, look into the Elegant.

Hello Ms. Nomad :)
Have you got a link to the elegant? I looked on YT and didn't seem to find it..
Do you know if I can get the higher mah Riva (or anything) in an auto?

I've never tried the 510 cartos, but I'm very pleased with my KR808s and can't really afford to experiment too much at the moment.. Definitely will give the 510s a try some time, though!!

If you are pleased with your 808, you can't go wrong with the XLs from V4L. They are, by 'stock' standard (not a mod, if you will), the best you can buy.

Are they rated higher, do they last longer? What do you think?

These batteries from Red Dragon seem like they suck.
They keep willingly sending us replacements, and extras, all over the place .. but they're just not the greatest batteries!! They ARE getting better, so maybe they're about through a bad batch??

Anyone know the rating on these??

The riva/tornado/ego are all the same thing, right?
There is a generic version rated higher than the name brand one, right? Is it any good?

But they're all not for KR808? Is there an adapter?

there are some Vgos currently in production, basically eGos with 808 threading.....

Hey THE, I know what you mean about being on a budget. Here's the Elegant.

Electronic Cigarettes from Cigeasy - Home of the Easy E-Cigarette

It has comparable battery life to an eGo, so, most if not all of a day. They don't appear to sell auto's though.

As crazy as this sounds there is a blank battery with no V4L logo on their website. Do NOT buy it! It's a slightly different kind (They might have got them by mistake.) This battery only lasted a week and now I have to constantly prime it. It's like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose (all appologies to Sgt. Lee Ermy.)

On the other hand, my 2 V4L shorties with the V4L logo on them are better than ever and still going strong.

I use the Hello16 battery with an adapter when I want to do cartos, I also use a LR510 atty with drip tip when I dont. Battery life lasts me all day.

dont quote me, but if I recall correctly:

510 battery = 180 mah
reg kr808 = 280 mah
xl kr808 = 380 mah
ego/tornado = 650 mah
riva = 750 mah
hello16 = 1300 mah

the higher the mah, the longer the battery life.

That's great. I just ordered one.:facepalm: Oh well, I also ordered a shorty and an XL to try out.

They are rated higher than the stock alternatives, and they work great. They do not however compete with the ego, tornado, elegant, or most any other mod. No stock batteries do. They are a quality battery, backed by a quality supplyer, and two will last you through the day. If thats what you're looking for, look no more; if you are looking for a mod that will last through a couple of days, you wont like the XLs much.

I just about six hours out of my V4L XLs, and that's vaping roughly once every 3-5 minutes. They've been in daily use since March and no problems charging, no reduction of battery life on a full charge.

My opinion? They do what they are supposed to do, and their life span is pretty good (At least, I haven't killed one yet). Not a bad little battery for not being a bigger mod type thing.
