What's the highest safe to vape? I've heard of folk using 48, but I wouldn't recommend it. For your good self, I'd suggest trying an Aroma E-juice's WTA infused flavor that may help. I often use a 24 nic and sometimes a 30 or 36 in 100% VG. If it's too much for you, you will start getting a headache and feel a little nauseous. If that's the case, then put the PV down till the discomfort passes and then go down 6 mg or so.

I'm a 30 yr smoker of 2 packs a day Newport 100's. I love a good throat hit and a lung pull :p But, I've found that a 50/50 blend 24 mgs of nic is plenty enough to satisfy me and keep me away from analogs. Anything more than that and I could see myself not being able to vape as often due to headaches, nausea like Hulamoon mentioned.

I started vaping at 18mg about a year ago, lowered it to 12 so far. Lately had some extra stress in life that pushed me to the stinkies, as disgusting as they are :( Tried raising the nic level to 20 so far -- doesn't cut it.

So, what level is the highest relatively safe to vape?

Thank you!
Commie

I am not sure what the highest safe amount is... and I suspect it would depend on the persons tolerance. I know I started with 36mg and did not ever crave a cigarette ( until I lowered the level)... I just thought I had changed brand for a few days when I finally realized I wasn't smoking. I keep some 36 mg prefilled cartos on hand. They are the ones I started with and work like a champ when I feel the need for a cigarette. Many companies offer this level and many only go to 24. Mysmokeless offers 36 mg cartos for Kr808.. they are the ones I first used. They were good at first, now I think there flavors need improvement. You can always drip another favorite flavor into them. I also find if I am wanting a smoke then flavor isnt the issue to begin with. Ironically like a cig after a few drags you don't notice the flavor because the satisfaction is there.

I know a guy who uses njoy and his are 48 mg which shocked me. He didn't know anything about vaping, but said they worked and that is the way the came. He said he liked them because two drags were all he needed and he was satisfied like he had smoked a cigarette.

I use all PG and yes 36 mg will give a good throat hit, but I tend to take smaller puffs than most vapors. So that makes a difference also...if you take a cigarette size puff the throat hit isn't an issue. But if you try to produce a pillow size cloud of vapor at 36 mg I imagine you will cough. I've only been able to create those monster draws when I was testing 0mg while mixing. I have experimented with those large draws and mountains of vapor more out of curiosity, but it is don't something I want to do regularly. I like the small amounts of vapor (similar to that produced from a standard cigarette draw) and similar satisfaction from that. That does require a higher nicotine level.

I have found that for me if I feel the need for a cigarette and vaping is leaving me frustrated.. that a chamomile extraction with 18 mg of nicotine works extremely well. I extract my own and it is easy. I filled a 4 oz jar to the top with a light pack of dried chamomile flowers and then fill to the top with PG. I microwave for 10 secs...no more... then put a lid on it and shake it. It is good to go in a few hours or you can steep for longer if you like. I have steeped one batch 48 hours and don't see much difference between that and 2 hours. You can speed the process with a warm water bath. Just look for when the PG is a light apple green color. Strain by dumping the whole mess through a metal sieve. Then filter the liquid through a coffee filter, paper towel, or cotton ball stuffed into a large syringe. Add nicotine and vape. It is slightly sweet and nicely calming.

I rinse my coils well between each tank and dry burn the coils if I feel there is a loss of flavor or if my liquid was getting dark and the bottom of the tank.

i vape 36mg from time to time, I always have a few bottles of it. The other times I vape a mix I make with 36 mg base that is diluted with the flavoring. My approximation is that it is about 32-34mg, and that is what I use on a daily basis. I go through 4-6 mls a day without any ill effects.

NJOY King disposables are 45mg/mL, which sounds like they started with 48mg/mL and added flavor. I have two LR cartos, one each of menthol and tobacco flavor, both at 45mg/mL, which I keep with a little black 808 and a slim PCC for when I actually do want to be "stylish", or just pop out for dinner. It's also great when I'm stressed and would otherwise want to step out and have a real smoke because it really gives you that smack of nicotine like an analog would.

I would call up to 45mg/mL "safe", but trust me, if you vape 2-3 mL a day, you're not gonna want over 24mg/mL. You'll feel crappy. 45mg/mL is like, take 3-5 hits and put that thing away for a half-hour.
