My 'not so' Highly Guarded vaping Secret is to remove the wick plate from a joyetech 1.7 ohm 510-T atomizer and use it for a dripping atty. It delivers more flavor but less throat hit than a LR HH-357. (smoother vape) Plus they are only 6$ instead of 22$.

OK. In all seriousness. Best secret is to get to know your hardware before chasing the elusive "perfect vape". Get good with what you have. Classwife commonly mentions this and I concur. Also, DIY juice.

At a certain point, ohms are ohms and effective volts are effective volts. That's not to say that different hardware doesn't change things, or that vv isn't a good idea (it's great). But you can succeed with any decent PV and an atomizer of proper ohms.

The secret to DIY juice is....saving big $$$. I think I just spent around $50.00 or less for a 6 month's supply of juice stuff...nic base, flavoring and PG/VG. Hard to tell exactly since I had some previous PG/VG and flavorings. But you get the idea.

Well ive only been doing it 3 months, but the more i learn about vaping the more i feel clueless as to what id really want. If you find something you love stick to it. The one thing ive learned really works for me to kill cravings is have a nice variety of liquids. A simple change up can be a refreshing experience as the day goes on to keep you satisfied.

Where do you buy your nic base, pg, vg and flavoring?

My super-secret piece of vaping advice is easy: When you find something you like, stick with it.

I adore ECF, but sometimes it seems like the pressure to buy things is just over-the-top crazy.

Feels like we always want more and think there is something better out there

Where do you buy your nic base, pg, vg and flavoring?

Several places. Last place was here: 100mg Unflavored Nicotine-PG

That's for 100mg PG nicquid that I cut down immediately to 50 mg. I mix it down to 25 or less by adding PG/VG/Flavorings.

So that's 120 ml cut to 480 ml or more for $34.99 not including shipping and discount coupon. I already had PG and VG and most flavorings. But you can get em there or shop around.

There are many good vendors. See the list on page one.

Also see the DIY section: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/

EDIT: P.S. I used to not buy the 100mg stuff. But since I had a spare glass bottle from last time, I could cut it down immediately and it saved even more. So now I buy the 100 mg. Life = change. lol

That there is a chemical in all juice that will over time turn us all into zombies. Sorry I'm a card carrying Smart A.
Really that it pays to do your homework on all aspects. Look at reviews, (this is a matter of opinion) I avoid buying juice from some countries as they have a poor human rights/safety record. I don't like to generalize so I will leave name(s) out. What ever comes to your mind then you have formed a like opinion and you should follow your instincts.
You do not need to spend a ton of money I know folks who have two reliable and relatively inexpensive PV's and they stick to them.
If your happy with your vape experience looking further may be useless. The grass is always greener syndrome can eat into your wallet. I know LOL.
I'm not perfect at this but be respectful of folks that object you never get a second chance at a first opinion. Obnoxious vaping just creates enemies. Remember x smokers are the worst. LOL

When my delivery device gets funky I toss them and open a new fresh lovely. I deserve it and I believe it to be healthier that way. I'm talking about the devices that are disposables, not rebuildable nor rewickables. It keeps my experience clean, tasting great and me feeling great about my new habit.
