In looking for the origins of the Orchid the closest I can come is a really ugly and expensive thing called The orchid.

From there its a cluster of V2, V3.................

V6 I have found to be my sweet spot. Now I see a V7 which all I can see is an extra .2ML so I'm not interested. I'm thinking I'll be a buyer again at V10.

But where does unit come from?? It seems to be a clone thats become self aware.

Too bad they kept using the logo or they could've been considered authentics.
I agree. Some of the early clone versions were still pretty much in line with the original, the v2 and v3,but starting with the v4 it could have been an authentic, and especially the v6,it's nothing like the others so it could of definitely been labeled as it's own model.
yes, Aethertech made the original, it vaped great but was a huge pain to refill, then they took an eternity to make a revised version, but the cloners picked up from there and improved the design and gave a lot of new options
Actually, the cloners picked up on the problems and fixed them long before Aethertech did.Shortly after the first clones came out, they started making the v2 with the fill screw,Aethertech didn't fix the issue until 6 months or so after the cloners did haha.

So it is a rouge clone. Thats kinda the vibe I was getting.

The V6 is just perfect for my style. I was using a Taifun which works well and gives good taste but can't move enough air to keep a canary alive. So I tried the V6 and found heaven. Makes the same juice tatse much better and really moves some air.

I knew what I had was a clone and I was ok with that. But now I was one just like it but blinged up some. Basic what I was is COF's Statos with the Orchid rta.

my best one so far is the orchid deck, kayfun 4 chamber (it vastly improves the flavor, probably because all the angles instead of a flat roof) and kayfun bellcap. you can fill with the base screw (if using v2 and up decks) or by the juice flow on the camber, wich works really great and you can adjust or change your coils without emptying the tank,

That sounds like a cool setup, you by any chance have any pics of it?I just added the parts to my cart to do this.I have the orchid base and kayfun v4 parts, but no bell cap,so i just added all the parts to build one so i dont have to part out my other tanks haha.

Thats awesome, ive got all those parts at home. I thought about doing this but I was worried the chimney would not fit correctly and it would end up not wicking or flooding. Do u build the orchid the same way as normal?

exactly the same way as I built before and no issues, the only thing is that the chamber sticks out a bit past the bell cap so you need a wide bore drip tip that could fit or cut the chimney a bit
