Hit or Miss KR8 Connection

Hey there ECFers,

As the title shows, I'm on the KR8 ecig model and I've been having some trouble recently.
I have batts from CigEasy and V4L and two of them (one from each) have been giving hit or miss activation on each pull. I'll take a drag and it won't always start vaping immediately. I'll either have to take a really hard drag or cover up the holes around the bottom of the carto to get it to work. The one from CigEasy is your average sized auto with a wide-hole bridge. The one from V4L is one of the newer models with a circular bridge and a smaller hole. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this trouble and would know how to remedy the situation.

I've found this to be a common but easily fixable problem with the KR808 batts. All mine are from V4L and I've had the same problem. Over time, the battery post gets pushed down and doesn't make a good connection with your carto.

Keyzygirl is absolutely right - check out the V4L subforum - there is a great tutorial video on adjusting the battery post. All you need is a paperclip!

I kept having to adjust my batt post and was getting frustrated until I watched this tutorial and realized I was screwing my batts into the charger too tightly - this causes the post to get pushed down. Now I'm more careful and actually haven't had to adjust my batts for quite a while!

Oh, and if you come across a carto that mysteriously won't work - you can adjust those too! So definately check out those vids!
