What I wanted to know was if something else worked with the tv besides direct tv. If it does the same thing with another device then it’s the tv.
Right but does the tv work with the Blu-ray or do you still have to wiggle the button on the tv?
Oh and I didn't have to wiggle the button on the TV but had to keep pressing on,on the remote and waiting.
That's what I wanted to hear...LOL. They are coming Tursday to give us our "free" upgrade. Hopefully that solves the problems. Really hoping that I don't have to buy a new TV.
I gave up on the laplink program. It kept trying to transfer 550gb to the new computer. I ended up using the c2g transfer cable from work and did it manually. I think I’m getting close after fighting it all day.
Good morning. Hitt, I think I did use Laplink with a USB 3.0 to Sata data sync cable, just cloned the original pictures and all. Of course I did go from a smaller drive to a larger one.
Good morning. PT, both hard drives are 1tb which used to be a lot of space. Had I known that my wife’s pictures were taking so much space then I would have bought a machine with a 2tb drive.
Not quite. I have to import contacts and then move the new machine where the old one was with everything else connected. Then my wife can use it and see if she is missing anything.
Ok, I got the contacts transferred and have live mail set up ready to go from what I can tell. I powered down both machines and am ready to switch them out.
I was able to get under the desk and eliminate a bunch of cords. I got a wireless keyboard and mouse plus had several cords there that weren’t being used any more. The new computer is set up on the desk and I’m going to box the old one and cables for now. It’s just a matter of seeing if I missed anything now.
