There’s a car dealer in her town that rents cars but they aren’t open until tomorrow. She got a coworker to take her to work today and a friend offered to let her use her car if needed until she gets the rental.

Good morning, hitt Seems like its been a long time.

The drama continues with the youngest. The dealer in the small town she's in wants $91 a day for a rental car. That's too much. The next closest town that has a rental car place is out of cars so we're kind of stuck. I wish my wife had just gone there today while I was at work to help her. She's probably going to have to find a friend to give her a ride to work today until we get this figured out.

She's not going to have a choice for right now until we figure this out. I'm off tomorrow but I can't go there tomorrow. I have two contractors coming to the house to work and have to be there. My wife talked to her and said she was getting frustrated. There's not much we can do from here. She may have to see if she can get someone to take her to the nearest town that has rental places which is about an hour away from her. That's the problem when you go to school in a one horse town. There's just nothing there.

She did end up getting a car but it's $400 a week so hopefully they can do the work fairly quick. They sent me pictures and it's worse than I thought. Probably going to have to have a driver quarter panel, hood, headlight, and don't know about internal damage.

Decent mechanic/body shop should get it done pretty quickly.

Very much so. We’re trying to figure out a cheaper option but she’s only 21 so they charge more for the rental.

Since you don’t have a spare vehicle around you’re probably stuck.

Good Morning. Sorry to hear all that, what a mess. Been reading for a while used cars are expensive and hard to get.

It’s been a pain just finding a rental for her then the price is a bit ridiculous. I told my wife that we need to add rental coverage on the kids cars. I should have done it to start but wasn’t worried about it when they lived at home and honestly forgot we didn’t have it.

Fran I know you saw this in the other thread but thought I’d show PT the floor that was installed today. They did a great job estimating and installing it. You can see in the picture there was just one piece and one transition left.
