I quit smoking four days, seven hours, and eight minutes ago.
Before that I smoked for ~18 years (1 PAD) and the longest I had gone without a smoke was one day.
Last week I decided to pull the trigger on an e-cig. I picked up a KR8 from V2. Ten puffs later and I was convinced this was going to work. So far, so good- and I'm loving every bit of it.
After my first twenty-four hours on the V2, I ordered an Ego-C and a ProVari, with lots of bells and whistles. I've spent a lot of the day reading posts here and purchasing small amounts of e-liquid from different suppliers. I'm trying to find "the one" but I suspect there may end up being multiple "the ones"
Without a drop of regret, I'm certain I've spent over $500 already. That's OK by me, I'll get it back and more without spending $5/pack on smokes and (eventually) without paying heavy premiums on insurance.
For me, the vaping alternative is nothing short of a miracle. I really didn't think I'd ever be able to quit and wasn't looking forward to trying Chantix either.
I owe many of you a big thank you. In addition to the tons of valuable information I've found here, many of the threads and posts here have been inspiring and motivational to me. The last few days I've spent my mornings reading this forum and following links while I sip my coffee and vape. This is an exceptional community, and you're saving lives.
I've got lots of questions to ask, and a lot yet to learn, but I think I know where to come to for that
