Can't wait until the sub ohm kits arrive. Just purchased the Vicious Ant Cyclone AFC cap and drip tip and it looks right at home on my LP grand. Built a dual coil .6 ohm microcoil with 28 gauge and wow......unbelievable flavor and vapor. I do notice the voltage drop with the same Cyclone compared to my other mechs but it isn't too bad. The REO grand will be unstoppable with the new kits, seriously why bother with anything else?

That looks awesome c3! I have a LP Black Anodized Grand on the way, to go with my Gold Cyclone AFC. The Cyclone needs to be modified for bottom feeding. I plan to tackle that as soon as I get home from a long (4 weeks) business trip. You gave me a preview of what mine would look like. Thanks and again that LP Grand and Cyclone look great together!

good luck with the modding! If you don't want to mess with drilling the Cyclone, you can always purchase a new bottom feeder for 60 bucks and sell the current base with the standard cap on the classifieds. I'm guessing you wont take more than a 10 dollar loss? I just noticed that my Sony 30 amp batteries hits harder than my AW IMR's. Not sure why? Only con is that I need to take off the button cap for it to make contact with the flat top Sony's.

I guess I'll never get the low sub ohm thing and all the vapor. Had I smoked like that I would probably already be dead.

Now maybe an ex pipe or cigar smoker would need that much vapor, but I don't get why an ex cigarette smoker needs that much vapor. I doubt I'll ever do dual coil sub ohm, but then we're all different. I would just like to understand it.

I found it funny a little. I've stood with a friend while they smoke. It looks like I have five cigs burning from the vapor to smoke difference, and I have nothing special...just 1.1 ohms or so.

For me, Sub ohm vaping allows me to end my nic craving with much fewer puffs. I tend to chain vape with standard/low ohm builds. The flavor is also very enhanced and the hot vapor better simulates cigarette smoke. Definite con is burning through juice faster and fogging up the car.

I'm just curious how much, how long, and what did you smoke?

I smoked almost 50 years, a pack a day. Started with Winston, varied a few brands over the years, but my last 20+ years were Camel Filters. I never had any desire to quit smoking. I started vaping with cartos, 20mg nic. I was able to stop smoking after 4 days of vaping. And I started vaping out of curiosity with no intent of quitting smoking. Vaping just satisfied my NEED to smoke.

I liked vaping but when I read how much some were vaping the last thing I wanted to do was vape more than I smoked. So every 2 to 3 months I cut my nic by 2mg. I figured that slowly I would never notice and I didn't. I am now at 6mg of nic and figure by the end of the year I can be at 0mg nic. Then I'll decide if I want to keep vaping or stop altogether. Although I think if I decide to stop vaping I would do that slowly as well.

What deck are you using with it? Anyone have any thoughts on the cyclone bottom feed deck vs just the capl? I see indyvaporshop indicates a version for the mini is in the works :) They're also out of stock on everything. :(

I sorta lucked out and found (what I believe to be) the last new AFC cap known to man within the United States..... And for less than $40. Unfortunately I'm going to have to buy another bf cyclone just to use the base for the AFC cap, but I suppose it will be nice to have an extra cap just in case.
If anyone is on the fence about buying a cyclone- get on it now. They are amazing.

I smoked for 15 years and majority of it was Marlboro lights, more or less a pack a day. I found it VERY difficult to quit on ego twists with Iclear 16's when I first started. Took a lot of will power to continue vaping until I tried rebuildables around August last year. I guess everyone is different because my wife quit easily on EGO's and currently uses Kayfun's with advanced PV's. My wife was a smoker for 17 years and smoked more than a pack a day. We are both at 6mg now (started around 20 mg) and may reduce to 3mg soon.

I am using the Cyclone bottom feeding deck with the Cyclone Air flow control (cyclops) cap. If you dont have a Low profile grand you will be stuck using the standard cap which is also great but you cant run dual coils unless you drill out a second hole. Air flow diameter is 1mm on the standard cap which is too small for me, I drilled it out to 1.6 mm on my standard cap. If you want to try out a Cyclone, Mountain Oak Vapors has them for around 60 bucks shipped with a coupon.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! Think I'll wait and see what new thing they might bring out.... I'd need something compelling before I can spend any more money :)
