OMG MaryKay I'd have had a heart attack! I'm a farm girl and not really afraid of animals but those things are so freaky ugly and wicked looking teeth. None of them around where I grew up. 8-o

It's well under 5KB. It's well under 150x150. It's a straight jpeg. Upload Failed, every darned time... I can't get the quality down much more and make it worthwhile...

Errr - it says "upload failed" but appears to be working as my avatar. Boggle.

First, you have to find a picture you want to use. Then use DaShiVa's instructions here to upload it:

You might have to downsize the picture to make it work.

That is, in fact, a work of PhotoShop. I done it a couple of nights ago so I could have a Christmas Avatar for the forum. I'll post the original.....gimme a sec.

If you don't have photoshop or similar and want to get an image as a thumbnail there's lots of online services out there - here's a really basic one (I haven't tried it, looks like it'd be helpful tho)
