Hollow core wick?

Would it be possible or functional? Too, wind a coil with the wire INSIDE and wound WITH the wick? Thinking like on a Kanger head or something. Say you used 1mm HC on the coil and 2mm or 3mm silica or even some cotton through the center. No idea what issue this would fix or cause.. just wondering.

Sounds like the new aspire bvc vertical coils.
It's like how some cartos are designed.


On a dripper I think it's been called dragon coil.

I've tried it a few years ago. All it did was build up pressure with no vapor. It was quite hilarious actually.
