Well my madvapes order via fedex is going to a broker for clearance, I guess I can suppose I'll be getting a bill. I don't know if it is because of the size? amount of $? it is the 1-3 day route only difference is last one went priority pak and this time it went international priority service? Maybe someone that has knowledge re: shipping can help us figure it out?

If the shipper uses the cheapest shipping option (ground) to send into Canada they will usually charge you a brokerage fee (UPS/Fedex). UPS charges at delivery and Fedex charges by invoice after delivery. I believe both charge a minimum fee of $15.00 and up. If your order is marked with a higher value, you will also pay an import fee for customs clearance. (If the package is marked as a gift and $25 or under, there is no import fee) If you can wait, it is always cheaper to ship USPS International Priority Mail.

Thanks for the info, I thought I read pipeous say something about that so out of the two fedex options I chose the most expensive one. Oh well have to see what lays in store for me. Waiting wasn't an option this time, so oh well. But good to know for the future.
priority air will have the fees incl in the price, same as worldsaver with ups. it works out better to pay the extra.
Dang, but at somehow getting down to this 1 battery it'll be nice to have the Maxi rough stack 2 to play with and all the other box mod crap here in about 3 hours. I'll update everyone what the brokerage fee is. Then I am going to just go USPS from madvapes in the future because I will never be in this position again.
Madvapes is awsome. So I got the Maxi blah kinda like ego except I bought 2 3000mAh bats with it so have to wait and see how long it lasts. Really nothing special. I got all the stuff to build boxes. My 5V mod is the ugliest thing you have every seen. I didn't realize 14650 bats were longer then 14500, 14650 2 @ 1600mAh opposed to 2 14500(AA) @ 900mAh but I had to cut two plastic cases to make one long enough to house the 14650 3/4" longer. It's so ugly I want to slap it. Just waiting for the batteries to charge so I can try my hand built mod out, the soldiering iron fell off my desk and out of reflex I grabbed it. I'm drinking heavily to numb the pain

Good lord, I cringed just reading your post. Hope your hand is ok.. pour some alcohol on it to make sure you don't have any nerve damage. If it burns, you're good..
Thank god it was too hot to stick, that would have really sucked. Little tender but I'll live. I won't live though because madvapes has decided to abandon us Canadians no more shipping. I am waiting to see why. Will post after they reply to my thread.
The mad vapes section I opened a thread, can't PM Hoog and I'm not gonna use a ticket on his site. I'm just gonna bump it till I get an answer.
Noooooooooooo!!!!! Well in a way it's a good thing because I won't keep ordering as much as I did, but that is a downright shame!
This just bites! First VaporKings and now MadVapes.. I think I'm going to move stateside!!
Absolutely ridiculous, as I mentioned in the MadVapes thread, they should just say "no e-liquid shipping to Canada" - I'm sure they've never had a hardware only package seized at customs.
Yea I'm sending them the disclaimer the Chinese use next ticket reply so they can see it our way hopefully. I'll let everyone know.
I can understand their point of view that it's a major hassle for them to have to accommodate such a small market as Canada (compared to the US), but hopefully they'll reconsider.
