Home made coffee bean extraction... Any success?

I've been doing some research on coffee bean extraction to make my own coffee extract. I'm curious if anyone has been able to do this successfully, and what did it vape like?

One of the methods I found involved taking sugar and heating it into a gel/paste type consistency, then adding really strong brewed coffee/espresso. The result was a pretty thick molasis looking goop.

The other was simply to brew the coffee for a long period of time, essentially like a tea bag style with coffee beans. This would be a very high water to coffee ratio. The websites suggested up to 24 hours of brewing time for strong extract.

Anyone ever tried this?

I'm pretty sure this link is here somewhere in another thread, but to save having to go hunt it down...
