Not sure about the kurig grinds.
I've never seen the grinds from one.
I suppose just about anything would work, but I was of the mindset that larger grind was better.
My biggest concern is if the grind was too fine, it would make extraction really tough without getting sediment into the mix.
If that happens, you'll be burning up coils and clogging attys.
I ground mine so coarse that it wouldn't have been good for brewing a pot.
Literally, each bean was chopped into about 10 or 12 pieces max.
