homemade 401 usb passthru

Anybody reccomend against using 5v on a 401 atty? If not, then I'll probably start working on my own. I've got all the parts I need.

I could make one for the 510 that I have, but then I'd be trashing a perfectly good 401 atty.

It's good, you just have to use the batt thread or something that lets the atty get air. I drilled out the hole in the batt connector a little before I put mine together for an easier draw. I like it at 4.5V. But then, I like anything with a consistant power source.

I wouldn't do it. The stock (chintzy) M401 PT runs at about 3.4V that's considerable hotter than the stock batts which come off the charger at about 3V. It definitely gets hotter, I've melted the top of a few juice cups when I've left them in (I dip with it). I really like it for that, as it's light and with the auto switch I can keep it hanging in my mouth and vape while having both hands free. The M401 has it's place and it's fans but for higher voltage mods there are better choices.

Well I just made a USB passthrough for my cheapo E Health Cigarette, the atomizer is holding up fine. The vapor is kicking ... too
