Use food grade VG, 100% pure only.
You add to that the flavors you desire - Typically ordered from a site like >> Perfumers Apprentice - Professional Flavors

Definitely explore the DIY forum here at ECF too, and ask questions.
Be especially careful if you plan on adding nicotine to your juice. Never guess at any of this stuff.

For nic base information you need to read this thread for opinions. ~> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/298547-nicotine-comparisons.html

One of the most common newbie DIY mistakes is trying to create overly complicated recipes with too many flavors before understanding how an individual flavoring works and at what percentages. You need to start simple before trying to figure out why a 5 flavor combination isn't working right.

Please use USP grade only :)

These carriers are made in four grades:

Pharmaceutical Grade - for human consumption including by inhalation
Food Grade - for human consumption by ingestion but not inhalation
Agricultural (Farm) Grade - for use in connection with animals
Industrial Grade - for use in machinery, manufacturing and similar purposes

All of these grades except Pharma Grade contain contaminants, in increasing amounts as the grade quality reduces. This is the difference in the grades.
