Hello E-Cig forum goers,

Disclaimer: This is my honest opinion, In no way am I affiliated with the product manufacturer, or anything else. Just me and my opinions.

Well as promised i would try my best to write another in depth review. So here we go!

Today’s review is going to be none other than the Super T Manufacturing Precise Simplicity 14500. As you can tell it is a 14500 mechanical mod and is small in size.

So let begin with what you get. Well it’s a mod you can't expect to get much other than a tube right lol. It holds a battery and forms some sort of circuit by a button. Well that’s pretty much what you get, but this comes in a very nice form, function, and size.

1 - Precise Simplicity 14500
1 - Velvet Pouch
1 - O-ring
1 - Small washer eyeballing size 3/8in OD. 1/4in Hole

This is what you get in the mail for a cost of $99 and shipping which BTW, shipping is cheap. Not bad. Now the Precise Simplicity does come in 2 different flavors and that is directed to the button lock ring to which you have a choice polished brass or stainless steel. (Pictured with the SS lock ring)

So yes not much to say about what you receive with a mech mod. So moving on.

Size -

This is a small compact mod fits nicely in one's hand. Comparison would be a roll of dimes and roughly the same weight. It's a pretty hefty mod with a battery in it.

Height - 3 7/16in/81.8mm
Diameter - 5/8in/16mm

Looks -

This I must say is a simple looking mod it's nothing fancy or highly polished or engraved with some logo all over it. It is just well its name simplistic. Even though it does have a texture machined into it like a nail file. The machined fine grooved finish IMO is wonderful as for a small mod it allows for grip and doesn't shot out of your hand when trying to press the fire button. It does come with 2 styles of locking ring for your personal preference. (Polished Brass/Stainless Steel)

Function -

The Precise Simplicity is a very smooth work of craftsmanship. All the areas that are thread go together like a well-oiled machine no burrs or tight spot just simply smooth. The button has a little wiggle but is very light on the spring tension and is extremely easy to press. (Word of caution this mod will not stand on its own with an atty on top without firing. You must lock the firing button if you wish to set it upright.)

The Breakdown -

Left-Right = Battery top Cap, Battery Center Pin, Battery Tube, Locking Ring, Fire Button, 3 Small Washers, Battery Firing Pin, Button Spring.

Top Cap -

This is a nice top cap. As you can see the top is 510 threaded with 4 air channel groves. This does work nice with a 510 cartomizer, bottom air feed atty, and side air fed attys. The bottom of the top cap as you can see has a derilin/plastic insert which houses the threaded adjustable positive pin. Now here i see a bit of wear and tear happening but should be fine as long as you’re not removing the pin and constantly adjusting it.

Tube -

Not much going on here as you can see the best I could get it in the picture the textured grooved finish.

Button/Locking Ring -

The bottom button is proudly bearing the engraved P. Also it is designed as the battery vent very sleek and hidden. The lock ring in stainless steel as you can see the hidden slots for battery venting while device is locked. Sadly though as you can see the SS lock ring is just a machined ring. This was sort of a letdown for me as I didn't want the polished brass so I went for the SS hoping it was polished to but nope sorry it's not. It has a brushed finish to it and pretty much just disappears on the mod. This would be so much better polished as it would match most atty that one would plan to sit atop this mod.

Firing Pin -

Welcome to your firing pin this could be better designed. This has to be my single most let down of this device. So the game plan here. The washers space the pin off the button depending on what battery you have in your mod button ton or flat top. So to do this you must place a screwdriver down the battery tube unscrew the button and remove or add washers as needed. Now do you have any idea how hard it is to balance a screw on a flathead screwdriver wish 3 washers on the screw. Place it inside a 3in deep tube to hit a 1/4 hole at the bottom at the same time trying to hold the button and spring on the outside. And do your best to get these washers centered with the small screw. If you do not center these washers they will hang up in the tube when trying to spin the lock ring if you spin the button with it. Yes frustration shall happen. So I suggest once you get this setup for your battery never change it lol. Of course it does come pre-fitted to use AW-IMR. I am using Efest IMR and they fit no issues.

Overall -

I can say this is a well-built mod. Other than the firing pin could be a little better thought out. So if you’re looking to fill the spot of a small stealthy mod while you’re out and about this will perfectly fit that bill. I am pleased with this purchase and am very pleased it comes with a lifetime warranty. It's my new daily PV.

Pro's -

-Small size
-Nice textured finish
-Built to last
-Sleek design/Form Factor
-Adjustable positive post in top cap
-Lifetime warranty

Con's -

-Firing Pin could be better
-Stainless Steel locking ring is not polished (just a personal con)
-Button spring is a little light and will not stand with a atty on top without being locked.

Well i hope you enjoyed my review of the Precise Simplicity 14500. As you can see the Pro's greatly out weight the Con's and with its lifetime warranty is well worth the investment.

I have one and of course its very , very nice, like its name suggests, simple. I believe Super-T made it to fill a market for a mid priced item that is well finished, tough and has thier usual made in america, lifetime warranty.

It can stand with an atty attached, but it all depends on the atty. With my Fatty V2 it stand perfectly, no fire.

With my Odysseus, well .........

Thank you for your review, as long as Super-T has been around, many still dont know about it. The quality you get for the price point is amazing. Ive seen very similar PVs out there with the same simple design for double or more, it just doesnt have logos, or etchings etc.
