Finally...Let me say that again, FINALLY...I got my 2 orders that should have been here almost a week ago! I ordered a 510 to Ego adapter from southern NY last monday, and it only had to go to north DE, which should have taken 2-3 days tops, but took 9 days instead! I got it yesterday. It came to De from southern NY, via western Michigan! Then, I was also waiting for my new Vivi Nova Mini which shouldve been here last Saturday, but just got here today!(5 days late). I needed BOTH of these 2 items to work together, because the Vivi Nova wouldnt have fit on my Lava Tube(Torpedo).

I switched to the Torpedo variable voltage device last saturday because the 2 tobacco juices I got are much weaker tasting than they were last time I ordered smaller quantities of them, probably because I got them in 12mg instead of 24mg and 36mg as before. But its not just the nicotine throat hit that seems to be missing, its the strength of the flavor itself as well.

So using my 3.4v Ego with the Kanger T2 just wasnt cutting it with these weak tasting juices, so I had to switch over to the Torpedo and I started using the only cartos I had that would fit at first, which were low res. 1.5ohm smoktek cartos, which were "ok", but not great.

So yesterday my 510 to Ego adapter comes in and I switch to using my Kanger T2's with 2.2ohm coils on my Torpedo VV at about 4.2v, and one thing I've noticed about higher voltage devices is that they burn through more juice faster. Well, thats a problem for the Kanger T2 apparently, because its wicks cant seem to keep up, and they dont get enough juice into the coil fast enough, so 1 out of every 2 hits is a burnt hit! I even store it on its side and keep it more than half full of liquid, and it still happens. It just doesnt seem to wick enough juice into the coil fast enough for the higher voltage device, but it works pretty well with the standard Ego 3.4v battery, but again, the juices I have are all light tasting juices, and I am waiting on an order of 5 juices from Goodejuice right now. If recent USPS events remain constant, I should get that order of juices in next year some time!

But I just hooked up my new Vivi Nova Mini with a 2.4ohm coil, and I'm vaping it at 4.5 - 4.7v, and needing to take big hits to compensate for the light taste of the juice, and yet I am not getting ANY burnt tasting hits yet......(Yet is the operative word) I hope this lasts.

It also seems to give good flavor too. Right off the bat, its not muting the flavor at all. The flavor is still a light one, but I can still taste the different flavor notes with the Mini. So far so good.......

Glad to hear you're likin' the vivi mini. Been thinkin' bout gettin' one myself but already have a bunch of Stardust type clearos and just can't see them bein' much different from one another.

"When" it starts under performing just clean and dryburn it, if it's at all like the SD's it'll come back even better.
I've been sliding 1mm. cotton "string" into the coil when the silica wears out. It's extending their usefulness substantially
and works just dandy. Better than the original. JMO.

I have about 12 or so Stardusts...now that I have my Vivi Novas, the Stardusts are in a bin and probably won't come out unless there is some sort of emergency. The performance of the vivi nova has been FAR better, and far more consistent than the Stardusts. And so much easier to deal with . It's been night & day IMO

I would regularly clean my Kanger T2, by removing the coil, using a pro grade pump spray bottle set on stream and spray water all through it repeatedly. I do that to my Ego atty's too. It would remove any burnt taste, but when I'm using it on the Torpedo VV, it just wont wick the liquid in fast enough, so you get more burnt flavor very quickly. When I was using the Kanger T2 on my Ego, it was OK 90% of the time.

I wish I would've known all this stuff when I made my 1st order for e-cigs about 5.5 weeks ago, because I couldve saved a lot of money! I wouldve bought the Vivi Nova 1st, and skipped the Kanger T2 and probably skipped the Ego-T and all the stuff I've bought for it too.

Agreed. I like the Mini VN better than the Stardusts (tight draw) the maxi VN (inconsistent performance) and the Kanger CCs (ditto). I have three Kangers. One works brilliantly and the others give me burnt hits. Haven't had a bad vape out of the mini Vivi.

You know what I want more than anything? Replicable results. I'd like to be certain that if one of something works, the others will too. Sadly, it's not to be (yet).
